Dishonorable Questions

Two months ago I was punished and wasn't able to play for 2 weeks, after unbanned I was locked dishonorable and I understood why and what not. After maybe a week and a half it unlocked. Since then I have been getting honors at least 4-7 a day from the games I played, maybe 2 each day from my own premade which is one person and I still have yet to level up in honor. Does it needs 100s and 100s of honors to actually come back or is it just forever dishonored til next season starts? Not mad or upset about it, just curious as to how it works cause I figured I'd be at least back to 1 by now.

Answer: Riot is a toxic company that supports gameplay toxicity. You said some mean things in chat, probably. If you were an intentional feeder, you'd be back to honor 5 by now.

The duration of the honor lock depends on your actions (the FAQ specifically mentions clean games multiple times). If it took you a week and a half to unlock, that seems to be quite a while compared to what others have said and could be used to inform you that your behavior may not yet be up to par.

The quickest way to level up is to play games and not be validly reported. (seems easiest on ARAM. Quick matches and no reason to talk at all, really) The second largest boost is when everyone on the team honors someone. The smallest boost is from receiving an honor. An honor from a single premade doesn't do anything.

It took about a month from Honor being released to the most honorable earning honor 3. It would make sense to me for honor 0->1 taking longer than 1->2 taking longer than 2->3. So my guess would be take how long it took for you personally to hit honor 3, then multiply that by 1.5 to get a baseline estimate.
