Hey guys, Riot just banned my main account out of nowhere for use of malicious 3rd party programs. I've never once used a 3rd party program.
I've been playing on that account for 4+ years, never once cheated. I have over $100 worth of riot points in that account, and so much champs/runes/hextech built up. This is extremely upsetting.
Whats the best course of action for trying to get them to take another look at that?
This happened to me as well just today.
You can always submit a ticket into support, requesting them to double check.
That will take some time to get a response, however. There might be some questions you can answer that might clear up any confusion regarding your ban.
Please don't misconstrue my questions as accusations. It is both entirely possible (and has happened before) that some people have been incorrectly banned for third party programs. I am, however, indicating that Riot is rather accurate with these things.
Custom skins/skin Previews/macros?
I just got an email saying that I have also been banned for using "3rd party software." I also sent in a ticket because I have NEVER used a program. I have had this account since season 2, spent hundreds of dollars on champs, skins, etc... It's just really annoying that we will most likely not get the accounts back because they think for some reason I have cheated. I don't know what that program picked up but I do know it is wrong. Spent too much time and money just to get wrongfully banned.
i've experienced the same thing today, i've been playing on this ccount for at least 5 years, i spent more than $500 buying skins and other things, nver have i ever used any 3rd party program and i have TONS of hours played on it, i don't understand why i'm getting banned out of the blue, this is just frustrating and upsetting ticket hasn't been answered yet but fromwhat i see on the forums, it's not gonna take me anywhere since they are using generic answers without even looking into the case PLAESE guys keep on sharing and commenting on these threads so we can at least grab the attention of some RIOTERS who would look into this
