Reporting Abuse and Run

It happens often enough, someone griefs during the game. After the game they add you as a friend to rant. I usually ignore these requests, but the other day I accepted it in the hopes of having a discussion and hearing them out. But alas the worst does happen- I add them as a friend and they go from grieving (but discussing) to an all out abuse before blocking me.

Is there a way to report such behavior and flag the chat? I cant go back to the match history to report them nor do I have access to the chat to flag it down. There has to be something players can do to report, other than being helpless and let toxicity go scot-free (other than ignoring the friend requests in the first place).

If you cant handle private. Dont add them as a friend for private chat. It's really not hard. [slayer-jinx-wink]

Support ticket is the only way to report people outside of the in-client method as far as I know. But as others have pointed out, private coms are a opt-in exchange. Support is less likely to do anything unless the harassment was really bad.

But it has happened before.

In the future, don't give trolls the second chance. Don't accept the friend invite.

Some of the responses are... not surprising. Sure they may have 'opt-d' in friendship, but that doesn't immediately absolve the harasser and throw out the TOS. Come on now. There should be an option to report someone who send you a private message that is full of TOS violations.

Only way to report it is screen shot and submit a ticket.

I have seen people get punished for it, but as AeroWaffle said, it is unlikely someone will get punished for it unless it was pretty bad.

I think you can submit a ticket to support. But I bet what really pissed you off, was that he got the last word and then blocked you. Thats a bit infuriating isnt it? Lol just being honest. I know people dont like to admit that, but it would piss me off too. Either way, if I was you, I would just forget about it and move on.
