The rank system creates competition between players The Report system bans the trolls who troll these players for 14 days The banned trolls hop on alts accounts to keep trolling the competitive players Competitive players get really frustrated because they have been trying so hard to rank up and eventually they explode like all humans do at some point you cannot tell me not once in your life you have not gotten angry and cursed. Guess what? Now the competitive player is banned for 14 days for toxic behavior . Guess what? Now he becomes a troll on an alt account, trolls more competitive players into the point of exploding in chat who get banned and turn into trolls.

You don't get banned for being frustrated. It takes quite a lot to get a 14 day ban; that happens when you are a consistent problem and are punished multiple times and keep being a problem anyway, and/or are using extremely toxic language such as hate speech or telling someone to kill themselves.

Everybody is a little bit toxic sometimes, and Riot doesn't punish just for that.

Frustrations happen. It's knowing when it's _your_fault or blaming everyone else for every mistake you make in-game. Yes, trolls/feeders will happen but they will get banned eventually. Plus, you are always going to have games that you lose, it happens for everyone.

It's just really tough when people can't ever own up to their own mistakes and flame the jungler/other players for their deaths. Everyone has a bad game here and there.

Two things.

One, you can't make blanket statements in absolutes. There are plenty of people who don't curse and who haven't done so.

Two, you aren't banned for cursing. You are banned for cursing at other people/inflammatory language.

No, ignorant players get frustrated because when they reach their correct rank they don't understand that they deserve to be S5 or so and rather than admit that they need to improve as a player they blame trolls for what is actually their lack of skill.

you get banned for being constantly negative. I got a 14 day ban in 2014, and it wasn't because I was a big flamer, just always argued with people who flamed me
