The truth behind it is, there are waaaaay too many players on this game for you to get noticed if you're just another blade of grass in the field. That guy who played Singed bot and roamed started this whole paranoia and now because the powers above deemed him an example of their hand it's become a problem. Just don't become popular or do anything out of the norm and it won't matter who you feel like playing in whatever lane. I get reported every other game and I can live with or without.

I lost multiple accounts in s1-s2 because I played Eve when the community perception was that she was a troll champ, even though I consistently was the best player on my team.

I was reported almost every single game and eventually was auto-banned by the system, with no response from Riot.

Even today, I play unconventional champs (LB supp/top, Janna mid, Eve top/mid) and still get reported consistently. Haven't been banned in a while, but it definitely happens even if you say literally nothing in chat.

The behavioral system was changed in AUG-2015.

You don't be get punished solely based on number of reports. Multiple valid reports over multiple games will get you punished.

You should update yourself.

You don't think the banning system has changed since season 1/2? You said it yourself, you still do the things that got you banned back then today and get reported but not banned. I'm just telling my experience, I don't follow the socalled summoners code and I do whatever I feel like doing every game and have never been perma banned, there will always be loops and will never be a strict line to being banned. If a player see's you as someone they don't want to play with and they happen to have a connection to a riot employee there's a chance you'll have harsher punishment. Think outside the box homeyo.

Right, it has - back when I was banned for my Evelynn in s1, it was 100% automated based on reports.

Then they implemented tribunal which was in place from late s1 to s5 or so, before it was taken down and replaced with the same system from S1 - banned based on volume of reports.

Why do you think that Support Singed with Smite was banned in the first place? He was consistently reported in almost every single game by his salty teammates, even though he wasn't breaking any rules himself.

Without the tribunal, the system is 100% automated, and you're a fool if you believe somebody is really sifting through millions of reports made by raging teenagers after they lost a match and want to blame someone for it.

i do believe they go through reports made on "problem players" when they think its necessary. if you get punished enough you'll see that for yourself, a popup will greet you telling you the punishment will be lifted after an appropriate number of games have been played with "good behavior", which means someone is obviously keeping tabs. and to top it off, why would there be a comments box in the report dialogue if nobody ever took an extra step to find out who needs muted, suspended or banned?

I don't see why it would be bannable, but I'd recommend picking up someone for support since you are likely to get that role once in a while. You could try someone like Alistar or Leona, they are tanky, in-your-face, disruptive supports who look like a good fit for your play style given your current champion pool. Or if you want to go aggressive damage kill lane support, you could pick up Brand or Zyra. Good luck!

as a support main, also a creative player, I can play all those champs in support and still make it work.

It's not bannable, as there is no rule saying you have to own/play certain champions. But if you start playing ranked consistently, you may end up reported by your team for griefing, trolling, or failure to communicate if you go into your matches with an attitude of "I only have top/jungle champs, therefore I can only play top/jungle" and try to force your team to switch roles with you if you are filled to another position, or if you play those champs in an off-meta role and feed badly at it. Once you start to climb in ranked, it's going to be expected of you to be able to adapt to the team composition, which that champion pool is rather limited in respect towards. None of those champions are AP, and they are predominantly assassins/bruisers, so no true tanks either, and only one of them is ranged. So, you will probably end up with some matches with a very frustrated team from the very beginning, which can get you reported. Will those reports get you banned by themselves? No. But if you have other rule violations, they may contribute to a future punishment.

tl;dr It's not bannable, but it's not a good idea to try and play ranked with only those champs.
