Riven was toxic af. This game and it's community is in a pathetic existence. But it's fine. I can always create another account and troll, because that's what Riot encourages, as long as you don't say anything in chat.

You didn't say anything that wasn't negative, except the very last ggwp.

Excessive negativity can earn escalated punishments, especially if it was relatively close to your last punishment, because it signals a refusal to reform.

Your 'threat' to troll additional games also signals a lack of reform.

If you're playing ranked or normals, those are matchmade based on MMR, so if you're matched with crappy players, they will fall and you will rise over time. The problem takes care of itself as long as you can avoid being banned, as a new account has to establish its MMR again.

If you're matched with toxic players, you now have firsthand knowledge that reports work to remove them from the game. With that knowledge, mute, report and move on. The problem takes care of itself.

I'm also seeing more posts on the forum from people banned for trolling, so the detection system is improving. You may have to find a different way to express your venom.

What you did is the equivalent of getting a minor fine after being caught speeding... and the moment the cop lets you go, you are going over the speed limit again.

Do you think you'd get off with just paying twice the fine after doing that?

When I receive a close to IMMEDIATE 7-day ban on these boards for posting what other players said in chat, yet they continue to play their games. Explain that.

Because it's not allowed on the forums, and the forums are way easier to moderate than LoL games, because there are a lot less forum posts than there are in-game chat messages.

Ooor: If you were wondering why it's not allowed, because you have other ways of reaching Riot aka the only ones who can actually verify the claims to be correct, while posting about these things on the forums at best is pointless and at worst results in witch hunts.

Edit: Should probably clarify that it's absolutely allowed to post what other people say in chat... you are not allowed to also post their names.

The logic is not about who is more toxic. The logic is if both players are toxic, both get punished. You don't know those players' toxic history (which punishment is based on) so you cannot discuss why they did not get banned.

You were flaming and badgering the riven THE ENTIRE GAME. Your punishment is deserved.

There is no reason for you to need to comment on the specific person who is replying to you. If you disagree with their post, either discuss the content of their post with them or don’t reply to them at all.

Okay. I have seen people use the N-word repeatedly and not receive a ban because of it. Feel free to explain how racism is treated less severely than some negative chat as noted above.

It isn't. Hate Speech is routinely punished as a 14-day Suspension minimum (And permanent bans in severe or repeat offender cases and those who are further along the punishment tiers already)

Note sometimes it takes some time for the IFS or a Riot Employee to look at the reports, and therefore the punishment may not be issued immediately after you report them. If such a case occurs, you will not get an Instant Feedback System Notice.

There are no 7 day bans in game, there's only the following tiers:

10-Game Chat Restriction. 25 Game Chat Restriction 14 Day Suspension from the game Permanent Ban.

I know neither that person's toxic history nor the exact wording/chat log of that person to discuss such thing. What that person did or said is irrelevant. I am discussing YOUR chat log and it is very toxic and deserving a "punishment". What that punishment is depends entirely on your account toxic history. If you jumped from 10 CR to 14-day ban, I can only guess you are VERY CONSISTENTLY toxic in the majority of your games and/or your 10 CR is very recent.

The system does not hand out this punishment based entirely on this one single game. It judged you based on your account reported game history and what level of toxicity your account currently is at.

Unless you watch their match history logs like a stalker I won't buy that they continue to play without offense or punishment. You may not be the punishing report to them but that doesn't mean their report goes unnoticed if it's legitimate.
