Just played the most toxic game of my life with a 4-man premade. They kept ganging up on my trying to get under my skin. The whole time they kept telling the team in all chat that I said all these toxic things that never happened. They were bullying me the whole game. The sad thing is, I'm sure my reports won't matter, in fact, I will probably be punished because I'm sure all 4 of them reported me, and probably their lies about me in all chat caused a few of the enemy players to report me too.

Fun fact; the system punishes based on consistency x severity, and not by number of reports.

Meaning players can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or 100 games of mild toxicity.

It also means that if there was no toxicity, you can't be punished, as anything multiplied by 0 is zero.

If they were toxic yet weren't punished for it, it means that specific game is logged into their behavioral history and it is building a case against them.

I have had something like this happen probably a dozen times now, the latest just last week.. Only one time did I ever actually get punished for it. The thing about LoL though is their are logs of everything so it was reversed pretty quickly.

I could be mistaken on this now but I think if you are in a 3 or 4 person pre-made and they report you, nothing happens now since that system can be abused extremely easy that way. I haven't been reprimanded in years for this.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Yea it sucks, but just mute them all and play. They can't flame you if you are not reading their messages.

If you didn't say anything wrong, you wont get punished. If you want them to 100% be punished, go to player support and submit a ticket.

Reports dont get bans automatically. If you did nothing wrong you are ok.

As for them, report them via ticket and explain that its a premade.

You can look at their match history and see if they did the same to others, and then let riot know.

Impossible, the system doesn't work based on amount of people that report you. It is on what you said. They do not care who started it. So as long as you said nothing toxic back. You cannot will not be punished. It cannot be abused unless you set yourself up to be punished by insulting them back.
