I am getting pretty mad at this but I will try to keep it as calm as possible. I know that they will never fix this but it is worth a try.

New people getting ranked from being unranked first time almost always get into silver atleast. This results in "real silver" players playing with unranked players that are pretty new to ranked. So my point is that (I am in silver and I know I suck) but I am always matched with noobs who cannot farm and should be Bronze. A fix for this currently for me is to play premade bot which kinda fixes it but I can never play solo ranked. I think that newly ranked players should get Bronze. Btw as I said before they will probably never do this tho.

They get put in Silver because it's the largest elo, most players are there.

Then every Silver skill new player would be stuck with the Bronze, instead of the few Bronze new players being mingled in with the Silvers.

The current way is the lesser of two evils, and there's really no way around it.

Yea but as the season goes on you have to basically go 0-10 to not get silver. Which at the start of the season you have to go like 8-2 just to keep your current rank (at least at low elos). It was pretty common right at the end of season to see a lot of new players. Some are ok and just on a second account or do not play a lot of ranked, but sometimes they are new players who are really really really bad. But instead of getting bronze 5 for them to work on their skills they get silver 3 or 4 and then have to play like 50 games to get their true rank. Most wont and will just sit in silver, but if they ever play a game its an auto lose for their team.

Its not a huge deal, but it is rather annoying. Especially to players who have to work their way up all season to that level to then be placed with one dude who went 3-7 in placements and are the same rank and get same season rewards as you. (My season 3 experience).
