Banned for 3rd party useage... wrongly accused

Fellow Summoners,

I was gone from the game for about a year and ive now been back for like a small week. I have only played Kennen since my return, play normal matches, no ranked to brush up my skills again.

And all of a sudden this morning a mail saying i got banned for 3rd party useage. And banned until Feb 22...

I have no idea how to even use anything, im playing from a Mac mini, just for fun.

I know i got an error message now or then cause the game could not connect. But retrying always worked without problems. I can't see anyone reporting me, as im always friendly and helpfull and get plenty honours for it.

I have tried sending a mail to Riot. Is there anything else i can do?

To say that i just bought Riot points for Kennens new skin :(.

Any advice?

good luck this happened to me about 3 months ago when im a season 1 player and the entire time the treated me like i was guilty and blew me off

Wow and i thought I was the worst case. Playing since season 2 I think, I don't even remember. We get summoner 11 for some automatic missleaded algoritm. PATETIC

worse then that i used to play in local tourneys back in season 1/2 even won a championship riven skin back when dolby axon howie's game shack and monster sponsored the tourneys and n1 even cared about league met phreak and have done play testing for a champion rework at riot studios but they have condemned me as guilty and refuse any further action on my ticket when i have done absolutely nothing to interact with the league folder no overlays no custom skins no macros no cd counters or respawn counter no streaming software absolutely 0 interaction with the league client

I was banned for the similar reason a week ago. I submitted a ticket to the game support. After a throughly investigation, which took five days, they unbanned my account and gave me 1000 rp as compensation.

Possibly another ban wave from 3rd party program users. But also when they ban people from this it also includes people who share accounts, or have given other people access to their account.

I understand what you are saying, but i have never shared my account, i wouldn't know why. I got a response back from Riot stating the same they said in the mail why i was banned, no details given.

I can easy make a new account, and already did to keep me busy, but what if something on my pc caused them to think i did use 3rd party? I have nothing related to this game except the game itself on my mac. So what stops them from banning me again?

This is just not fair, they can just remove all they want from their game cause something somehow spotted something, even if ya didnt do it.

There is no problem playing two accounts on one PC.

More accurately, there's a problem with two different people playing one account. The computer doesn't matter; people have multiple computers sometimes.

If that were the case, my friend would have been banned, since he was the one playing with his account on my pc and his laptop. That's lame if I was banned for that or flagued somehow.

I think there's a failsafe for playing from the same IP.

There're also things like sudden change of summoner spells or champion pool, for example.

this is a common misconception. Only the government is forced into using judge and jury. private corporations dont need judges, juries, or proof to evict you from their premises.

You definitely shared your account through pretty much all of the last month, and unfortunately, your friend didn't have the same respect for fair play that you did.

Sorry to call you out here, but it's important that we utilize good information in our assumptions, and there's nothing "on your pc" that'd cause a false positive: scripting suspensions are a result of scripting applications.

I stated that i just came back from almost a year absence, I have no friends who game at all.... Why would i even share my info? and why would some1 play my account? i barely had stuff on there except a few champs i played!

If what you are saying is true, and im not saying your wrong, then im hacked, but funny thing about it is, my pw was unchanged and again i don't see why people would wanne play my account...

The hacker likely stole an account to not get his own account punished for scripting. At least, that's the motive I'd guess at.

I have been banned too. Or "account permantly suspended" with no mail. I'm wondering (just an idea) if Riot could work in some anti cheat software installed by user. So we don't get ban for whaever reason Riot calls 3º party. Could it be my case i got flaged the same day a friend came to my home and shared wi fi or even the same pc, but not the account?. Im just wondering. Definitly trying to get it back! Support are not pointing why i got banned, scripting, sharing 3º party. They seem not to know.

DOn't even bother, I'm struggling with this kind of suspension but so far, after 1 month, they havent helped or shown any probe of what I did, with was nothing. They have a flaw in the system, but they won't admit it. END of discussion. :(

My other account was compromised earlier this year and the person that played on it was toxic. They got that account chat restricted (I know because I received an email about it).

If you know when you last stopped playing and when you first started playing again check your match history for games played when you weren't playing. Perhaps the same thing happened to you.

I did, and as i stated to RIOT, i only play Kennen, Amumum and Morgana, even my item sets and rune pages are called to them. But i do see many other champs played a month before i came back...

Is it wrong/against the rules to make a new account?

As it is starting to look as RIOT will not give my account back. The only thing they got out of it is me never buying RP again for anything. And i presume it will happen with more people wich eventually will started counting % if their income if enough people stop paying for RP.
