Option to Disable chat

I disagree. LeagueOfLegends is such a team based game, communication is essential. Why do you think there's an option to report for "Refusing to communicate"? If you don't like communication, you probably shouldn't like League very much.

Team chat needs an option to disable it. Everything that needs to be communicated can be communicated with the modern ping system. I could see where perhaps you want to clearify that the Pantheon should peel for the Jinx instead of diving the enemy but for every good thing that gets said in chat like the previous statement there are 40+ hateful and toxic statements. Even with the ability to say something in the chat it is even then only a 50/50 chance of that Pantheon even listening.

As a women I find the chat in Leagues to be constantly dragging, nearly to making the game unplayable. Certainly I can mute every person on my team every game from the start but it would be much appreciated if I could turn off team chat to begin with so I don't have to do that at the beginning of every game.

In all honesty the majority of the games I play that win there is no chat at all and in the minority the chat is just someone being toxic on a single person that isn't doing well. In games where the team is losing the only chat is toxic.
