Toxic players, players that leave, and players that intentionally feed need more punishments

I have been playing league since season 2. I love the game and have always enjoyed playing and getting better. The only thing that ever ruins this game is toxic players, players who give up, afk, intentional feeders. In a game that has become very highly competitive, at all leagues, many of the players do not know how to deal with their emotions when they start to lose. Instead of relaxing and just playing, they spam in chat and then do one of the things above, throwing the game and ruining it for everyone. More chat restrictions, que wait times, and/or punishments or support needs to be done to make the community better. I think anyone playing the game can agree the only truly frustrating thing about league that would make you not play or stop playing is the toxic players. Another thing i noticed is during school hours the level of toxic players decreases in my games dramatically. Videos or teachings focused on a younger audience might be a good fix to this problem. Regardless of the fix, more work needs to be done.

idk about the school hours thing being true i usually hop on about 11 am at my time and still get toxic people but with a more colorful language and some of it isn't even english but when school hours are over then the players just get unexpectedly "bad" but on weekends you get the perfect cocktail of both in which you don't try to do ranked matches until atleast monday

You really needed to spout this opinion that is spouted 100 times daily on these threads?

Your post has no substance whatsoever, all you want is a justice boner. Maybe look elsewhere, instead of asking a video game to police it's community harder, when it is already the most heavily policed in the video game industry.

All of their punishments have only made it worse, or had no effect at all. What makes you think doubling down will miraculously make it better? Just deal with it or don't play games, sometimes people are rude.

People are rude in other social settings too, and nobody cares. Leave your bedroom and learn to deal with people. Otherwise, go play a single player game where nobody is there being human and 'ruining' your experience.

The prob with that is it's a "to little to late" situation. LoL dropped the ball a long time ago when it comes to player behavior. They could have nurtured their game and made it a great community but instead they actually encouraged toxic behaviors with their messed up systems that benefited the trolls.

Riot has let LoL become a joke on the internet and the 4chan of online gaming "troll on 4chan or LoL is like pissing in an ocean of piss"

they do get punished maybe you should put yourself in their shoes i was punished just as i was reforming and tbh it just made me so sad im perma banned now being honest i think they should have more punishments before perma banning and have them be more severe along the way that way there is a bigger chance of reformation but at the same time they should give positive players extra rewards so that being nice is more worth whileAzir Yorick Sion
