Because as players, we have absolutely no way of knowing whether or not what people post is true. It's quite easy to frame someone with a photoshopped image, and this could lead into a witch hunt against that player, when in reality they did absolutely nothing wrong.

If you have chat logs or some other evidence of someone being toxic, send it into Riot through a support ticket, as they are the only ones that could actually see if it is true or not. Don't post it on the boards.

Ever heard of witch-hunting?

Its not allowed because because they are unverified claims regardless of whether or not they happen to be true. It is to protect innocent people from being falsely accused, not to protect offenders.

On top of that there is really no reason to do it. If you want to report something then report them at the end of the game or submit a support ticket. If action is needed reporting it to the forums is the least likely way to bring attention to it.

Because whether or not someone is worthy of a ban isn't up to you.

If I were to say that you were toxic after playing a game with you and neither of us had chat logs, all the community would have to go on is what I said compared to what you said.

It's pointless, leads to witchhunts, and is not productive in any manner.

If you have a legitimate complaint against a player and you didn't report them during the game, submit a support ticket instead of whining on the boards.
