Matched With Reported Players

No one wants to be matched with the same team if they were abusive. Nothing to bizarre about that. So why does it happen? I did a few practice games than decided it was time to do a couple ranked games and right off the bat I got matched with a team of four players on my team. One of them was really good (probably a smurf carrying his/her friends) and the others were, like me, bronze league. I'll be honest, It wasn't my best game. However, The chat spam I got was incredibly hateful so I muted most of them. A reminder, these were my teammates and I got a little bit of hate from the other team. We managed to pull off a win b/c of surrender, but I was done with that team. Even after the game they were talking about how I should uninstall and other incredibly hateful things. I reported them and then I waited about five minutes to que up again. if you read the title than you can guess what happens next.

League has one of if not the largest player bases in the world. Does anyone else have or have had the same experiences? Riot, Is there any discussion about not being in the same game with people you JUST REPORTED for being abusive/negative or aft?

Riot has already explained why they wouldn't do this. It would inevitably create a 'prisoner's island' within matchmaking and would incentivize false reports towards less skilled players.

In an ideal world this would be fine. But this isn't ideal. Players would report others they didn't want to play with for any and all reasons, not just poor behavior. At very high levels (Master/Challenger) you would be able to report players that you simply don't synergize with in order to artificially stack the odds in your favor.

This does happen quite a bit more often now, with the new queue type, you were a solo while they were a 4 man looking for someone that wasn't already in a group. Therefore you were placed with them again. Most players now go with groups of friends that will carry them, or be carried by them, thus leaving us solo queue players with but little option of being placed with them as someone they can collectively blame for everything. So I'm not surprised.
