Greetings Fellow Summoner, I was in-game last week (Friday) playing as Pyke (I had just bought him) when I get a popup ad and I tried to close it but I must have miss clicked as it took me out of the game and then the website instantly closed I thought nothing of it and continued to play but then after coming back from a day out I tried to play League and discovered I had been Perma-Banned!!!!!!! But anyway I was wondering if you could unban me please

I have sent this to Riot Support in a ticket and they just say that I shouldn't say those things even after I explain it to them it is irritating because they clearly didn't read the ticket. Also thank you, you have already been 10 times more helpful than Riot Support :)[slayer-jinx-wink]

Ahh. That was my fear. There are some bans that are protective bans (if they feel someone has gotten access to your account, for example), and those can indeed be lifted. Behavioral bans, however, are only ever lifted if they are improperly applied.

This term is considered hate speech, which Riot has a zero-tolerance policy against. While you claim to be referring to cigarettes, I'm afraid that's a claim that holds no water with Riot -- the use of that word to refer to people simply isn't acceptable, and if you wished to call them cigarettes as an insult for some reason you should have used the word cigarette instead of a word more strongly associated with homophobic hate speech, especially when used as an insulting term towards someone.
Unfortunately, I must tell you that the account is unrecoverable due to this behavior. This is not a ban Riot would consider overturning under any circumstances.

Unfortunately you did indeed do something -- you used hate speech in League, and it's clear you intended it as an insult, so the "I meant cigarettes" argument isn't especially convincing. I'm not able to suggest any course of action that would result in an unban, because I know for a fact that Riot will not roll back a ban on chat logs with this sort of behavior in them.

You actually never said that in this thread that I can see.
Unfortunately, this is also one of those instances where Riot has more knowledge than I do. They can track IPs and physical locations that access their servers, in-game choices and playstyles unique to individual players, etc. They have a very high accuracy at detecting when an account is being played on by someone other than the owner, and I'm afraid that if they have dismissed the idea of the account being compromised I'm inclined to trust their data.

All I can say is that if you told Riot you were hacked, they would have looked through their data to see if the connection information and gameplay habits from the game in question matched your typical connection and playstyle. If they upheld the ban, then it's probably because they could not confirm the account was compromised, and it appeared to them that the games were yours.
You'd have to ask Player Support for more specific details, if they're able to provide them.

I have no power to ban or unban anyone from in-game, and, even if I did, I'm afraid I would have to trust Riot's data here. I'm afraid if Player Support is not unbanning you, then their data shows the ban was appropriately placed, and I'm not going to be able to suggest any alternatives.

Nor, again, do I have reason to suspect Riot of doing anything other than legitimately investigating your situation and determining that their data shows no signs of account compromise. They have nothing to gain by punishing innocent players, and would not do so if they were confident your account had been compromised.

They will ban you for no reason and you will lose everything so please don't spend any money in their store. You will still be able to login to the forums with your permabanned account you just won't be able to play the game.
Here's what they're doing after they ban your accounts for no reasons. There has been suspicious activity yet I'm still the sole owner and operator of the account, the only one that's able to login to the account yet they need all this information for me to play again? lmfao "suspicious activity" that they can't even prove!!! They couldn't even prove that someone unauthorized had accessed my account. Failed attempts at accessing someones account SHOULD NOT result in a permaban. WAY TO LOSE HALF YOUR PLAYERBASE FROM FAILED BRUTEFORCE ATTEMPTS.

Agreed, what's even worse is that they don't even have to access your account for it to get permabanned. All they have to do is brute force somebodys login whether successful or not and that player's account will be permabanned for suspicious activity. RITO ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? YOU DONT SEE THE PROBLEM HERE I HOPE YOU GET SUED BIG TIME
