Are people really this small-minded?
So I wanted to play a draft game thinking I'd do a little warm up with Lux before playing ranked, because I got used to her and mages seem to be good supports in ranked, etc. Anyways, I got a premade that first banned my champ, Lux, because "you were going to take Doran's ring", and then continued to harass me in game and let the enemies kill me because "Lux is not a supp, she's mid" and I'm "trolling".
Of course, I picked Brand and took Doran's ring out of spite, because:
- It doesn't matter, it's still AP and mana, god forbid somebody else actually buys a ward and uses it. No, I don't usually take the ring as support, but what if I did? Is it another case of "you will steal my kills if you build damage?"
- What gives them the right to tell me what to play in my lane? If I was gonna take Yasuo, fine, by all means. But really, they have a problem with Lux support?
I just wanted to share my experience and see whether this is something that actually happens or was I just so unlucky to run into kids who know so little about the game? Are the premades usually so entitled, they feel like they can tell "the randoms" what to play and how to build?
