TROLLING BANABLE?

So hey guys i have question here, Is trolling once in a normal banable? i never new a first time troll could be a just plan out banable offense? is it if you concede a certain amount of deaths you get banned? Because that recently happened to me and It said this "you have intentionally fed in these games" it showed one and in my match history as well it only shows 1, so im confused, if a one time thing is a 14 day ban worthy then shouldn't you receive a warning. If it is I would love to know for future tense and ill proudly serve my 14 day bans with no complains, But if its a one time thing how come my other teammate in my game didn't get banned aswell? when you look at his match history it shows more than 1 intent game. Id love to know more thanks, If a riot user can explain more better that would be good to, i dont want to get the wrong cognitive if because of right now i feel like thats an unjust ban but if its in the rules ill serve it proudly. Honestly, I'm curious as to whether he was even reported for that.

High ELO is a different environment since most of the players know one another due playing together frequently.

Yeah, from what I've seen if you get high enough elo then everyone is basically on a first name basis. First real name basis. I doubt people that familiar with each other are going to report Meteos getting drunk as a skunk and inting.

He was banned years ago for ELO boosting. That has nothing to do with him inting in Ranked a little over a month ago.

I am pretty sure Meteos getting drunk and inting is pretty common knowledge. It happened, and I am pretty sure he was not banned.

That there is a list that goes back to 2014, listing Pro-players/manager punishments, including links to the official statements webpages.

You'll also note that in many such cases, there's also a financial penalty attached, either as a fine, or inherently due to being suspended.

You'll notice that none of those bans were for intentional feeding. Meteos intentionally fed 5 games in one night, something that is claimed by Riot to be a 14 day ban of the first offense. Meteos was not punished for that, despite reaching the number 1 factor in what determines whether Riot punishes someone or not (front page Reddit threads).

Its laughably dishonest for Riot to claim that all players are held to the same standards when that is clearly not the case.

I am totally for the banning of trolls. I get enough of them to relate, But I do have a question of principle. I get that if a player is bad enough that a perma-ban can be dished out after even a single game. But I have seen several cases where punishments have been dealt out unfairly. Don't you agree that its a little odd to preach about reform when you don't give some players that chance? I understand that certain players deserve what they get. I have a buddy who recently ran into this issue. He was wrongfully accused of intentional feeding when he just had a bad game, and was suspended. The punishment was removed after review, but im still curious how you guys handle stuff like that. What are your thoughts on how reform and 1 offense banning conflict with each other?

You'll see that I cited penalty history as part of this decision making process. This was not based upon a game alone, and the player was given many chances to reform.

You talk about false positives, which do happen in about 1 out of every 10,000 cases (very low). Usually the false positives are over-penalize, not 'shouldn't penalize'. We hand check cases, and player support also reviews cases where players write in about penalties.

This was not the case for this situation. This was not a false positive, and this was not a circumstance where the player was not given a chance at reform.

I dont disagree that i am not the most honor bound player every league player should, I officially understand the guidelines now but with all honestly the problem is solved and I dont think a perma banned is necessary but a 14 day ban is alright, You talked about not giving a chance to reform and that is me in this situation, no threats or chat rest just straight up perma ban, i have learned more on this day that my 5 years of playing league. I know im gonna sound like a desperate child but take a minute. Thank you

I'm going to escalate it to a perma-ban based upon the combination of intentional feeding, trolling, extreme hate speech, and your penalty history. Your chat logs contain language that is absolutely unacceptable in any setting. Our players have said time and time again they don't want this type of thing in League. You can re-log to see the new reform card, which includes chat. You are welcome to open a support ticket if your disagree with my call.

If this is true @ Riot Tantram care to look into a nice game I had where a Lux built 4 daggers and a zeal ? and intentionally fed and threw the game and said at the start of said game that " we lost because I am going to troll " because this player is still playing ... added him to my friends list even and hes still online having fun. If his behavior wasnt enough to warrant a nice 14 day ban then I dunno what else is. Cause your support didnt do didly squat and neighter did your report system.

Oh I am not saying I would post the players account here for a witch hunt I am asking if there is a way I could contact you so that you could look into two serious games that occoured to me ? those two players could use a good instant 14 day ban for what they did which i could easily give you proof of.

Your in game reporting did nothing to them / Your support did nothing to them ... I even added him to my friends list to SEE if anything would be done. But sadly hes still online playing right now in fact.

A twitter / facebook / etc or whichever way I could send you the match history in a private message would be great.
