I've run out of hope

Something needs to be done about the low elo community. I don't know if it's any better once you get out of silver/bronze but i'm really tired of the salt. I've been playing for a little over a year so I understand this game is made of mad and salty kids but can nothing really be done about it? Every game i have played in the past month there has been one extremely toxic teammate or enemy if not both without fail. I go ahead and mute them and report at the end of the game but i haven't got an instant feedback report saying anyone was punished in a few months. I can mute them and get on with it but teammates insist on arguing in base instead. If i try to tell them to mute or play and stop typing then all that flame gets redirected at me. I honestly have no idea what to do anymore.

As much as i'm ashamed to admit it, I was once a toxic flamer. I got a couple chat bans and realized, 'hey, maybe i am being a little shitty.' and reformed. At the time i wasn't even aware i was being toxic and ruining the games of others until i got a ban or 2. So because of my experience, I strongly believe chat bans should be given out way more frequently even from one game of being toxic if it's bad enough. The community might start to realize how shitty and selfish they are being.

I don't really have a solution in mind for this but something needs to be done. I haven't seen an instant feedback report in so long in starting to question if they are still in the game. Most times i feel like playing league now I'll end up stopping myself because although the actual game is fun, the people aren't worth dealing with. Nearly all the people i use to play with are starting to quit playing just because of this. You would think riot would care a little more about newer players and the community but they obviously don't. I just don't know what to do about it anymore.

I get angry often due to issues with my low elo matches whenever it's the fault of trolls or toxic players. But then I laugh, and realize that while I'm slowly climbing in silver, the toxic players I experienced in bronze are probably still in bronze, or are probably banned after the amount of reports they've accumulated.

I still run into toxic players and trolls, but I have to again remind myself that every report matters, and while it's a mere chip being knocked off of the dam that blocks us off from a more cleaner community, it still helps. It very very much helps. People who tell you otherwise are fools. FOOLS!

My best advice is listen to some music while playing and mute the toxic people, you can suggest to people argueing with them to just play and mute the toxic person....... But as the old saying goes, "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink".

Surround yourself with positive people, in games and stuff i normally look for some nice people to play with etc. Heck, i even go into beginner bot games and find some new people to play with. I start out the games saying "hello, good luck, and have fun everyone" in all chat.

This is just some of the stuff i do.

Btw, yes there is still the feedback report about when people are punished. No you do not get them every time you report, so you could easily go a year without seeing one but people still being punished.

You currently only get a punishment notification if the game you reported them in was the game that got them punish. No notification if they played another game after.

But are you telling me you want something like this?
