It depends on how close to the end of the match it is. If it's a losing match, and you're sitting in the fountain and not helping your team defend a last push on the inhibs/nexus turrets/nexus... then yeah, if you get reported for that, you can be banned. It's trolling your team by refusing to fight it out. The game is never over until the nexus is destroyed.
Looking at your match history where you played Blitz and you and the Thresh both sold out for tears, since you did it with less than 20 seconds in the match and your team was closing in for the win, I would say you weren't in danger of being reported for trolling there. Not to mention, you had just respawned, so it wasn't like you deliberately backed to buy them. Had you recalled to buy them, and left your team, then that would have been questionable. What if you did that and they ended up losing the fight because of it and weren't able to end the match? Then you'd be stuck with tears, and if you had to sell them back, you'd be without the gold to buy your items back.
On the other side of things... the Thresh in that match bought his tears with well over a minute left in the match. It may not sound like much time, but if he had all his items, knowing that you weren't there to pull someone out of position, they might have been able to do something.
We had a case on here last week, where a jungler got a bit tilted, rage quit, but thought about it and immediately logged back in so he wouldn't get a LeaverBuster. He instead sold his items and bought 6 tears. He ended up selling the tears and rebuying his items, but that left him behind for the last 6-7 minutes of the match, and he died because of it. His team reported him for intentionally feeding and trolling. And he was given a suspension for it. So, just keep that in mind if you decide to buy tears. I wouldn't recommend doing it at all, but if you are dead-set on doing it, only do it when there is absolutely no gameplay still in action.
If that is the case, there is no reason for players do report you, so I don't see why that would get you banned. If you were toxic to your team, and then buy 6 tears at the end, you would be banned for being toxic, not for the tears.
So I would think you should be fine
Na you wont be banned, but I have seen times when a player does that then the game is saved somehow.
