Happens, but you can get some really polite and sportsmanlike players as well. At least I find majority wise I get players who don't say much, then nice players, then rude players. The rude players just tend to stand out more.
Just use the mute button.
The point of the game is to win, obviously. The easiest way to do so is to play in a team. If one member doesn't bring anything to the team, he will be flamed because his teammates still wanna win but that one guy is making it harder. I could be completely wrong though, some people are just jerks in general and will blame you for anything and nothing.

100% agree this games toxic levels have reached an all time high. I hope but doubt the new honor system will do anything to fix it.
