Riot should stop giving out perma bans, they should just make them 1 month bans.

If a 2 week ban was ignored, I’m inclined to believe a definite, and longer suspension would be similarly ignored.

I think the only people who don't want perma bans are those who have suffered from them.

Or...

You could NOT be toxic and get yourself banned. Maybe act like an adult.

A system that permanently removes jerks and trolls from the game is perfectly fine in my book. And if you got permabanned despite the previous warnings you were given leading up to it, that's your own damn fault.

I think Perma bans are fine as I am not worried about it happening to me. Its so easy to not ever get banned or chat restricted lol

Why should Riot stop issuing permanent suspensions? And what benefits would 1-month suspensions have?

Heck, why ban for a month? Just don't hand out bans or punish toxicity anymore. Throw all the perma. bans and toxic players together on an island!

I'm fairly certain Riot had the data to show that people who make it to the point of a permaban almost monolithically do not reform, that's why they permaban

agree to disagree.

I wouldn't mind if they added a 1-month tier between the 2-week and perma, but completely removing the permabans would be a mistake.

Just a quick disclaimer: I do not and have never received any bans.

If they still dont follow the rules after a 2 week ban, I dont think simply doubling it is gonna change anyone's behavior. Just seems like a completely arbitrary idea. Do you have a reason for believing this idea would help people follow the rules?
