Why do people defend trolls/cheaters?

So why is it that when u play blind picks and u call a lane first, but someone else just says their taking it, or auto lock it without calling most of the time your other party members will DEFEND them and chastise you? Why defend this behavior when its clearly greifing or trolling? Also when someones OBVIOUSLY scripting or using some other form of 3rd party program and you mention it everyone starts flaming you? rather than just observing it for themselves?.... are people THAT desperate for situations to show their asses that they will neglect cheaters and greifers just so they can run their mouths?.... Very rarely do i see people not doing this.... this community is the most toxic and unfun bunch in any game i have ever played in the last 30 years. not even joking. All the Tyler 1'anabes ruin this game. I can almost gurantee theres going to be flame comments on this too because thats just how this community is lol

Playing blind is your first problem if you have a role in mind just go draft even if your champ is banned out people are much more chill about role swapping

A couple things:

What part are the people chastising you for? Lane calling doesn't really do anything in blind, so if you react to someone's pick with toxicity, then it'd make sense to chastise you rather than the other person. It sounds like this happens to you often, or you wouldn't have posted it. So, what could turn 3 strangers against you, constantly?

If someone is scripting, report them after the game. Mentioning it doesn't do much, unless it's something along the lines of, "I think that XXXX is scripting, watch out for his roams".

If your team is toxic, unfun, running their mouth griefers, then mute and report after the game.

I can't do anything about the people you play with, so that's why my response focuses solely on you. You're the only part available for modification.

because of lot of them are trolls and toxic themselves. I get when someone gets upset because a teammate is throwing the game...its suks...but when they get nasty and start attacking the person with name calling...that's just being an asshole and often times other assholes will back them just like the bully with his goons.

Why people does that? Because general moral has declined. President Trump is perfect example of this eroding of morals led by religious fanatics. And in competitive game, winning is seen more important than honor. If enemy has troll, most players without honor sees it as good thing and defends them to ensure their win. If your team has cheater, same is done. I can tell you this is way worse in EUNE where Eastern European cultural respect of strength over honesty.
