I've run in to this a lot of times because theres abs. no penalty for just ...basically being an asshole. " X told me to kms " or " he called x a N***%$ " Sht like that. all to try and garner more reports against someone for abs. no credible reason.

If you lie to flame someone for sht they didnt even do, YOU should be penalized for w/e it is you were lying about.

I know some potatoes going to chime " number of reports dont matter!" Yeah thats a flat out bs lie.

Flaming people asking for reports is already a punishable offense. And no, it's not a lie - number of reports does not matter. You can be reported by all 9 other players in every game and never get a punishment if you don't misbehave.

I would be fine with that, but I would imagine such things would need a manual review to confirm.

There was this case a long time ago where someone popped up on the boards claiming that they were only banned for repeating nasty things.

A Riot'er popped in and checked the case. Turns out they were just trying to make false statements to get other people to report someone else in the game. The Riot'er increased the punishment to a perma.

As it stands right now, repeating zero-tolerance stuff will still get you in hot water with the system. So your wish is granted albeit in a side-effect sort of way.

Ummm ..

People already get punished for calling for reports.

Go through the first two pages of the behavior boards. The people whom are punished for minor offenses typically have the "asking for reports in the form of harassment" box checked.

Abs. weird way to shorten absolute. Never seen that before.
