The second experience of a 14-day ban

Usually I am chill when I play league, most of the time I shrug off the bad manners of my team or the enemy and either mute or just continue playing with a level head

But this game, for some reason this guy hit a nerve for me. After feeding bot by the 2nd minute mark, I had a bad feeling, i tried my best to help other lanes but the game overall as a whole was not going very well. Bot lane would walk back to lane and die again within 2 minutes. I died to the enemy jungler in the river and all lanes were losing, although I was still trying my best, in the back of my head I was ready to accept a loss.

Then our Xayah adc starts talking all this trash about how its my fault she lost lane and I "should've knows that draven is strong and they were weak"

At first I brush it off and keep playing, but them more and more logical fallacies spew out of his flaming mouth about how its my fault and that i should have ganked before 2 minutes because "that's when hes weakest." and for some reason she hits a nerve and we start going at it, she throws false conclusions at me for why she lost lane, and i go right back flaming and wondering how she is so stupid to have come to these conclusions. In the end many words were thrown back and forth. I ended up muting her a few minutes before the game was over, but it was too late, the damage had already been done.

I leave the game, ask the enemy team to report Xayah for toxic, when in the end I was probably responsible as well.

Then the 14-day ban hits.

Morale of the story, always stay vigilant against toxic flamers who try and get in your head by using incorrect arguments. Because, like me, when you least expect it, when the line is crossed and you start firing back insults, that's the mistake, that's when the ban hammer strikes.

Be sure to keep your cool, even for me, who this is the first time flaming probably months, that does not make it alright, just because "its been a while"

You already know what you did wrong, so I'm not gonna get into much of that, but you should also know that rallying for reports often contributes to punishments against your account. Only one report is ever needed to get a game reviewed, so calling for more doesn't help anything, and can easily be interpreted as harassment.

Yup. Its important to have thick skin in this game (and life, imo). You knew her arguements were full of falsehoods, but for some reason you just HAD TO try to convince her and the other strangers in your game that she was in the wrong. Sounds like you know better, but just had a moment of insecurity. It happens.
