So why the hell do I still lose 3 LP when I dodge because some jerkoff in my lobby says top or feed leaving us with a double top... He gets off with no punishment while I get a timer and lose LP when he's the reason anyone would dodge in the first place. SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET ME REPORT PEOPLE FROM CHAMP SELECT. I really don't even care if the report button does anything. Just let me feel like somethings going to happen to these people even if nothing ever does. Thank you.
You can report people in a support ticket. But the dodge penalty is there to give you something to consider when deciding to dodge. In the case of an obvious troll the loss and wait simply are worth it. But things like "that guy picked X instead of Y" usually aren't. You benefit from the penalties existence every time you play by having far fewer dodges than you would if there were no penalties. They tried reducing the dodge penalties before and dodging went way up. It often took several champ selects to get a single game.
