Bronze 5 > Silver Players

Is it just me or are silver players impossible to carry??

They're not bad enough at their champions to be placed in bronze, but because of this 90% of them seem to think that any champ below 50% hp is automatically killable and I get to cringe as a I watch teammate after teammate dive into a 1v3 and get absolutely destroyed. They have enough confidence in their champ that they know they can outplay some people but sometimes it becomes too much and they end up chasing every single opportunity for a kill and when this happens late game it usually just ends up throwing the game.

Anybody that's reached Gold+ please leave your opinions on silver, or things that you learned to do to help climb out of this miserable bracket. I hate to use the term "worthless" but right now it seems like the best way to describe half of my teammates. I know a bunch of people are going to comment "Stop blaming your team" or "you're toxic" or some other bullshit, but I'm not sure how to carry a game when my teammates are dead about 50% of the time.

Silvers are absolutely better than lowest MMR B5.

Of course they are harder to carry though. The other side is also made up of equally better players, so you have to be that much better to carry. In low MMR you can more easily 1v1 everyone in a row. If you are better than B5 MMR, the games are just you doing what you want.

This may not always be true. But in general I feel like a Silver player should be able to play any carry type champ and at least make a large impact on the game. Maybe you might die in one bad fight and lose the game. But if not, you would win it. This isn't true if you are a silver level player in a silver level game.

Of course if your teammates just make bad decisions, that is another issue altogether.

im just saying it now if u manage to be in bronze 5 for over 2 days you are bad. and for some reason bronze people seem to have more game knowledge than silver players. legit just played a game early where my team had 4 up and I was dead from a fight and the enemy team had 2 champs up with amazing wave clear and my team decides to try to push with 3 minions instead of getting baron and when that somehow failed they decided to farm the jg and 20 seconds later the enemy team respawned, got baron caught the person still farming jg then won the game after that I was about to become more toxic than a riven main

Silver is an Elo where good mechanic and average game knowledge can easily get you to Gold. I find Gold and Plat to be the most annoying Elo since it's filled with toxic people who think they're good since they'll get end of season rewards. In Gold, mechanics are better, but attitudes are worse. As a result, it's more difficult to snowball and hard carry games.
