Are people not allowed to have friends anymore?

I recently played with a friend who is Level 23 on my main account since I don't want another account so I shouldn't have to stomp on newer players. Our Bard (Support) said that the reason we lost was because Riot matched me and my friend with a SILVER player. I am unranked, and I plan on staying that way. Ranking in NORMALS shouldn't matter. People play for fun, not to be the best among few. He was toxic the entire game and AFK'd for two minutes before finally coming back. He said this before leaving the post-game screen. "idiot gl with your bad friend hope I go against you someday" I apparently am not allowed to have friends because he was "too good" to be with my friend. Why is it my fault that the game queued me with you? I am not at fault, and neither is my friend. We want to play for fun. Not to be the best. I'd say take that attitude into Ranked and not force it into Normals players. Why play normals if all you are going to do is complain about player ranking and level?

The guy complaining against you and your friend. In other words, he's likely a toxic individual whose opinion and voice you should give little consequence.

But, the thing is why harass a lower level player for just being IN THE SAME WORLD as you? That's just annoying. My friend just got a taste of the bad side of League. I know there are good players but they are mostly the toxic ones that only just make him feel like this game isn't for him. In which I don't believe. He can play well if he is in the mood, but being harassed is when he starts to play worse as for most League players. Harassing others won't fix anything whatsoever...

It's hard, but it's not much different than any other game out there, honestly. The issue is that so much of League is very reliant on working together as a team, and that puts some people in situations that they simply can't handle. There is no excuse for behaving like that to anyone, whether they just had a bad game or are new.

The key is to learn how to handle it yourself. Everyone comes across these individuals far more than we'd like, but there are ways to deal with it that don't include stooping to the same level. Muting, straight up ignoring, and just working closer with your other teammates in the meantime. Ultimately, this was just one match and there are far better ones to be played later, if you have the mindset to go play them.

There is no reason man. Are you seriously trying to find a reasonable answer to why people are assholes online? He's just an asshole dude, no reason to disect it.

There are assholes everywhere, doesn't mean you should change who you are or not enjoy yourself. I think the bigger question is why does some idiot spouting hate on the internet bother you so much.
