Toxic Players And Smurfs

why are smurfs even a thing? why are people able to make multiple accounts and screw others over? why doesn't riot do anything? why does riot tell us to report toxic behavior but still not do anything about it? why are bans so weak and or useless? chat ban? really... 3 days away from league? better get on my smurf or make a new account... Riot, seriously... start IP banning these kids... im sick of seeing them hop in games and go on a feeding spree... opening soup kitchens in baron pit or dragons pit like some type of salvation army deal... one of these days ima open up a shop and sit in mid.

Smurfs aren't automatically toxic pricks. In the end, only 8% of the entire community ever gets punished in the first place. It's better not to pass judgment on everyone (since there are plenty of legitimate reasons for making smurfs) than to restrict smurfing because of the minority.

I came here to make a post and what do i see...one allready made for me... I had a game where Jax farmed the jungle untill level 10, and guess what...we all lost lanes cause their jg abused the hell out of us... He then starts flaming at us and says he's not there to babysit...ok granted but level 10 with no presence or wards...ok... First big fight and we are winning it big, jax comes out of nowhere and steals all the kills and dances around... I think ok now he's fed and he can be a formidable presence...no he goes back to farming jungle... Next fight he jumps in but just dances there and gets killed...next fight the same...and the next one...and the next one... He fed them like red cross in Africa... We are all tilting at this point but it gets worse... He goes around our wards waiting for them so they can be fed and deny the vision... When we started talking about ff he calls us noobs and starts running around the nexus... Then quits when he got bored... This is just the latest example of douchebagery i've had to deal with and just sit there knowing i'm stuck in bronze cause of guys like him.... If riot doesn't do something about it i am thinking of leaving the game for good, cause all i get from this game right now is a wish to smash everything around me..

like its just a fact of life. people do this and there isnt anyway to prove someone is a smurf unless theyre like streaming and go on the different accounts. and making multiple accounts isnt a crime like half of te challenger players all have smurfs in diamond 1 + riot makes money off of people playing the game so its just more beneficial for people to be playing the game reguardless

IP Bans are never used simply for the fact they are so easy to get around.

IP ban are useless. it takes me less than a minute to change my IP.

also a lot of people play from internet cafe, roommates, etc. they will never go for IP bans.
