Honor Level 0

I know this topic has been beat to death already, but honor level 0 is too punishing. It takes way too long to get out of dishonorable status right now. Basically I got a 14 day at the beginning of preseason for using a homophobic slur, its been about 4-5 months and I am only on the last checkpoint to honor lvl 1. I've played about 90 ranked games this season and this is not even counting my preseason matches that I played after the ban. I don't think it should take this long for honor to go up at least 1 rank. All my games have been positive and I've been getting honored regularly. Anyone else that has been banned experiencing similar issues? Anyone have any thoughts on this that they can speak from experience?
