Really??

I just saw this linked in another thread. Does this actually mean that you will not receive ranked rewards this season if you aren't honor level 2 or higher at the end of the season? I can't believe this is actually a thing this season.

Honor should not have any impact on the rewards you receive for climbing in ranked. Ranked rewards are a measure of how well you play during the season, and a player's honor level has absolutely nothing to do with this. First they restrict this clash tournament thing, now they are taking away season rewards for punished players who can't manage to grind their way all the way back up to honor level 2 by the end of the season.

What is the logic behind this? Can someone please explain why they make earning honor from levels 0 - 2 ridiculously hard and time consuming and then, just all of the sudden, decide that you need to have honor level 2 to receive any performance rewards this season? What a joke.
