Would it be possible to post the chat logs?
Certain things can escalate and jump punishment tiers (this includes death threats, sexism, racism, etc.)
Hate speech skips chat restrictions
Breaking zero-tolerance policies escalates you straight to a 14-day ban, sure. Don't use hate speech, don't tell people to commit suicide. Simple stuff, really.
