Would it be possible to post the chat logs?

Certain things can escalate and jump punishment tiers (this includes death threats, sexism, racism, etc.)

yeah i said "dirty latino %%%ot" because he was being racist to me and asians so i reported him too and also got punishment probably 14 day punishment i hope so

So, being racist and hateful is the correct response to hate and racism? That aside, using hateful language, such as what you used, is escalated past chat restrictions, as it is deemed completely unacceptable and is treated much harsher than other forms of chat-based harassment.

He deserves punishment. And when you responded the way you did, not only do you give him the satisfaction that you got punished, but you subjected everyone else to hate speech as well.

Now instead of 1 toxic player, your team has 2.

Muting all does not prevent them from seeing your chat, so you need to restrain yourself from flaming regardless the status of other people's mute.

Ok. Just know that after coming off a 2-week ban, the next punishment is a permanent ban. You can get your account back into good standing, but only after playing clean, non-toxic games.

Yes if he said that he did deserve it all you had to do was report after the game. I don't understand that reasoning.

Why not post them chat logs?

Also, understand that after this 14 day pretty much any rules you break will get you a permanent ban now. Listen to your own posts and use that mute. gl

Someone being racist doesn't allow someone else to do so. Just report the person after the game instead of lowering to their level.

After a 14-day ban anything worthy of a chat restriction and above can trigger a permaban, so be very careful OP.

Breaking zero-tolerance policies escalates you straight to a 14-day ban, sure. Don't use hate speech, don't tell people to commit suicide. Simple stuff, really.
