I've never understood this logic, as to why players will risk bans, or be toxic to you if you're playing a champ you enjoy, and excel at. I know this arguement is beaten to death but just had a run in where a player on the other team was getting mad at me because I was winning lane really hard on brand support, the real reason I was dominating their lane is cuz he was a bronze draven and I'm a Diamond 1 support player playing a premade normal with some irl buds.

Got told to kys, got called a Nword (tbh it was sad because I felt that the other player had a lot of demons hiding in his closet and he was taking it out on me, his attempts to insult were so baggy for attention even our random player said " woah I hope this guy isn't being abused by his dad or something"

Made me think, I'm really sorry if he is. And hey buddy if you read this know it's cool man we decided not to report you, however you will not be so luckily next time, seek help if you're being abused or bullied we didn't think you we're tough we think you need to get some help and work on that inner hatred yo may have towards someone.

Goodluck friend, I don't wish harm upon you over a video game, one of my boys has his PHD in social work related field you called him names last night aswell and he is concerned (sry I forgot the actual degree)

That's some real stuff. As for why people risk it..? From my personal experience I always went with the "It'll never happen to me" mentality. Eventually it caught up and I got 2 week'd and I'm overall way better than before. Don't talk in most of my games and I think about everything before I say it. Really cool what you did for that guy though, hopefully he changes his ways.
