Chances of being punished without flaming or being toxic?

Is it possible to get punished simply from being reported even if you do nothing wrong? I've been chat restricted before without even using curse words, just talking back to 3 toxic premades saying stuff like "stop flaming and play" "quit spamming pings" "you're being immature", saw nothing incriminating in the logs tbh (I have them saved somewhere, will post in a bit if someone cares).

Ever since then, I've decided to turn team & /all chat off, most of the time people chat in game is to be toxic anyways, but is that enough to be safe from premade children who tell each other to report their team when they're losing?

No. If you break no rules, you don't get punished; I have seen maybe one or two edge cases where such happens, but they're inconceivably rare, and consequently negligible for anyone who follows the rules.

Calling people immature does constitute insults, and you could've very well been punished for continuing a detrimental argument besides. I can't say for certain without seeing the aforementioned logs, but it's not uncommon for continuous, slight misbehavior such as that to eventually warrant a punishment.

If you don't say anything in chat (which is what I'm assuming, just taking the next logical jump from turning team/all chat off), you won't get punished; because, if you're not chatting, that by extension also means that there's no chance you're participating in chat misbehavior, so their reports will mean nothing.

And, win or lose, reports do the same thing; they trigger the IFS to review the reported player. If that review comes back with no misbehavior, the IFS will simply discard the report(s).

If you did nothing wrong you won’t be punished, no matter how many angry premades report you.

To be honest.. if the word "KID" is a insult.. ahahaha..

Riot is a joke to me.. they went too far. All this "not allowed to argue" rules is bullshit. I muted myself with a script in the game so i cant chat anymore.

I red in one thread, there are just a few "flamer" who are getting perma.. like less than 1% of all player. Thats BS.. There are far more flamer and banned players.

The LoL Statistic is a lie/fake

Best thing is not to perma.. but to bann a player for 2 months.. if he flames again.. ban again for 2 months.. until he does learn from his mistakes.

People wont learn from perma bans. I think RIOT implemented those perma bans just to make more income, while perma baned players who are addicted to this game, are going to create new acc and buy their favourite champs.

It's a stupid system and you're best off not chatting.

Best bet is to only promote good sportsmanship if someone messes up dont go out of your way to point it out in a negative manner. Instead of saying things like omg kid or stop inting try to offer a more constructive solution and saying play safe isnt really a solution tell them to play back and lose lane gracefully and aim for mid to late game, or say something like better luck next time. Dont spend so much time in chat you, yourself loses focus of the game and it because a chat show instead. If you cant handle chat I would suggest /muting all and disable name plates. What this does is trick the mind you are playing vs bots and you can better focus on your game and not others.

No you wont be punished if you broke no rules. The rules go beyond flaming though, so you may be surprised that you get punished simply from arguing or spamming. Basically anything that distracts from the task at hand, may be punishable, without getting too specific.

I think it's all up to reports. I mean Riot seems to react to the most milktoast things. I've had games where the worst thing I said was something like "this jungle is trash"...that's all it takes. Like you can't have a negative opinion on a teammate...not even a little bit. Really stupid.

I personally don't see why league chose to have an All chat and or allied chat. Random stranger cohesion doesn't exist there and then. People are just too much of an individual to unify because they all have their own way of thinking and playing. Team cohesion only works if everyone has had time to know one another on a deep friendship kind of level and by that time they're using a voice chat. Text is useless, unless it is to track systematic pings like time of ability usage on an MIA. Lets all move with the times and remove it. Not toggle it.
