How come OTHERS get an explanation for their ban, but I don't?

Hello,

I'm here to necro my permanent ban case which happened last January. It's still haunting me, almost 1 year later. Why did I deserve a permanent ban on a 3 year clean account, no toxicity, no chat bans?? I read up on the policy and even intentional account sharing is usually punished by a temporary suspension, NOT permanent at least the 1st time.

I deserve a temporary ban by all means! Why did I get a permanent ban when someone logged on without my permission? It can been seen from the IP addresses that there were logs from different countries. It can be seen from chat logs it's different people.

I feel so bad reading this, cause I know if I was in ur position I would want an explanation as well. I'm sure you are one of many players; whom, got their account hacked and had some dirtbag use third party programs/intentionally feed/be overly-human toxic in game. It's a shame, and I really wish this company would at leash show sympathy for cases like these.

For cases of unauthorized programs (scripts etc.) they cannot give you any more information than that. While your intentions for wanting to know these details may be pure, there are many who would use it to help them avoid detection in the future, so for that reason Riot cannot tell you more (that's what he said at the end of your ticket).

While they may remove a ban for actions taken during an account compromise (you'd need to do an account recovery), they don't always. Some people simply try to claim their account was stolen when it was them doing the cheating, or they intentionally allowed others to use the account.

I understand your feeling... I got banned today for intentional feeding (which surprised me) and the reason that was shown for the 14 day ban was a teemo game, where I went 7/2...

What I want to say with that is that there is not enough transparency

How the hell can it be me doing cheating when the account was accessed on IPs from halfway around the globe and probably the same day? It infuriates me because I got a permanent ban instead of a suspension for this. If it had been a problematic account with toxicity or previous offenses fine. But how can they logically motivate a permanent ban on a 3 year old account with no issues? Why the hell would that player suddenly cheat/exploit or whatever they claim I did?
