AFK penalty question.

So we know that AFK/Quitters get hit with Leaverbuster and Low Priority Ques.

That would be Leaver Buster 5min, 20min, 1h etc

Yes, but Tantram says there are additional penalties if they continue. I am curious what it goes into.

I would imagine it follows the regular escalating punishment after that. namely the 14-Day suspensions and Permanent Bans

It goes to a maximum of a 20 min low priority. He was either talking about it reaching 20 minutes, or a manual review which would be a two week ban.

Generally speaking, they can't "disclose" their "further punishment" because that means manual review.

Riot, upon manual review, has the ability to issue literally any punishment they want. They think a 50 game chat restriction is deserved? Done. They think a 117 day ban is deserved? Done.

Normally, they tend to follow a logical progression (bans of 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks, 1, 2, 3, 6 months, etc.) but it depends on the person reviewing, the behavior, the severity and frequency, etc.

Thanks Chermorg. I was mainly curious about the progression you mentioned at the bottom. Am seeing more questions about if people who afk/quit get punished.

I knew about Leaverbuster but wanted as much information as I could get to try to avoid giving bad information.
