Can't complain about trolling?!!!

I played a ranked game today. Most players displayed what he/she wanted to play during the ban-pick period. The support banned what our top displayed. Then he locked my adc champ (the one that I displayed). I was the last pick, so I have to go support. When the game started, he got jg's first blue and die to enemy team to give the blue buff to them. Till that time I didnt even say anything bad. Just told him not to int. He bought ap items as an adc, then said that he still wanted to be support but taking all the minions. Isnt it an obvious troll? We even friendly played and wasted our 15 mins with him. I can't even say he sucks at the end of the game after trying everything? He was 0-8 adc! The enemy team helped him to report me cause they wanted to thank him for a free win. So my honor got locked? So we deserved a punishment after being bullied by a troll? Or we should always remain silent when we experience unfairness? Yes I did say he sucks. He sucks, thats the truth. There are many trash people with trash soul who are not respective at all. Why cant we point it out? Till now, that guy lost all 10 ranked games he played tonight, and not receiving any punishment. He even said he wants to be placed in bronze. What is wrong with you riot?????

IFS is a robot. It doesn't fact check. You were punished for negative chat it seems.

You can, just not in a negative manner.

That is the only usable evidence you have provided.

Sorry you had to deal with a rude player. Literally, the best thing you can do is to be silent and fill out a comprehensive report at the end of the game.

Don't bother gong back and forth with people like the guy above you. They act like the game is in a perfect state, and anything you say will be dismissed. Most board responses are like his, smug and full of nothing. They think you should just sit and take it, they have no solutions. I think they are paid a small amount by Riot to post crap like this on the boards to make people think that they are right.

There is something you can do about it. Not play this game anymore. There are plenty of other games where you won't have to put up with this behavior, and you also won't deal with passive aggressive brainwashed idiots on the forums.

Get better at last hitting, buy support items, farm some jungle, look for unused farm in other lanes, or just get over it.

Correct. No one is telling you to AFK though. They are telling you to not CHAT.

I don't doubt it. From your description, they broke a minor rule in chat. So it would depend on how often they break rules whether they receive punishment. Unfortunately, filing a comprehensive report is the only action you can take.

Don't misunderstand. I am explaining Riots rules, not my personal opinions.

Well, have to say there is almost no chance to get last hit as a Zyra vs MF. I did get the support item. Our jg was suffering as well, MF took his first blue. A twitch jg with no blue, you can imagine it. Enemy jg took his red as well. He was complaining how MF ruined his game too. So no jg source, MF kept inting, all lanes are failing. Really not much I can do. That game is hopeless from the very beginning, and the player who made it bad did not get any punishment, and is still trolling other games, what a pity.

Look up the game he's talking about, then look at the player he is talking about. It's clearly a troll, yet you would defend them? Why? Do you want a game full of trolls? Do you even play this game? Do you just go on the boards and troll people with your smug, condescending attitude? I honestly wonder at your motivation. It seems you are a Riot fanboy, who thinks that the way this game is being run is the only way.

There is no hope for people like you. Evidence? This isn't a criminal case. If Riot can ban people for one vulgar outburst then they should be able to ban people for 10 game long trolling streaks.

I'm not defending the troll. I am explaining Riots rules. We are all stuck with following Riots rules. My intentions are to warn people of the rules so that they can make informed decisions. I hate seeing people get "baited" into punishment because they are arguing with trolls that Riot will never punish.

Finally, someone on my side. I feel like there are too many people choose to remain silent, so that there is almost no cost for those trolling players. They want to get to bronze, so others should waste 20mins for him? The system has problems. If it cant fix it on its own, then riot should hire someone to do the appeal service. We invested a lot in the game, and shouldnt be treated like that.

Nowhere did I say that it was justice, justified, fair that you had to deal with the other player's unacceptable behavior. That does not give you any right to exhibit unacceptable behavior yourself, though. You were held accountable for your actions alone. If you reported the other player, they will be held accountable for their actions.

Ok, let's use logic: Breaking the rules is punished, one way or another. Chat related offenses are far easier to detect, and therefore, easier to punish. You knew that being punished for any kind of behavior violations would result in your predicament described in your OP. You chose to use chat in a way that was a violation. You were punished for that violation. judging by the log below, the punishment was applied correctly.

It doesn't matter if it was 50 minutes, 5 minutes, or 5 seconds from the end. Unacceptable chat is unacceptable throughout the entire duration of the game. It also doesn't matter who started it. You decided to participate in unacceptable chatting. That is a choice, that you made, and you suffer the consequences of that choice.

What’s unacceptable? “Suck” or “trash”? You bar is too low. Never lived a real life? For such a trolling behavior, I can’t even say he sucks? He was wasting my time, hurting me emotionally, and riot couldn’t help. Now you are saying my words are unacceptable, but the system accepted trolls. Encourage trolls? Ridiculous.

One: Yes. You are expected to remain silent to trolls because the DEFINITION of a troll is someone who wants you to be upset and act out in chat.

Two: Yes, it sucks. Some people are assholes. It would be nice if it wasn't the case, but there are limited options for Riot to do anything about it. I think Riot could do more to prevent certain forms of toxicity, but they haven't yet.

Three: What's wrong with Riot? They're trying to moderate literally millions of people. 99.9% of chat offenses are handled by an automatic system simply because there is no way for people to keep up without it. Trolling, however, must be reviewed manually. Sometimes a bad experience makes a bad game look like trolling.

Four: I took a glance at your match history, and I AGREE that you played with a troll, and that the troll should be banned. Consider, however, how many people complain of trolls when there isn't one. "Report X for trolling. Report Y for feeding. Report Z because they said mean things about my mother". I don't know how familiar you are with the concepts of 'signal' and 'noise', but know that there is a lot of noise. Finding the actual trolls through the noise is immensely difficult.

So when people troll, we just stay at base for 20 mins? That means a ban by being afk right? There are many other things riot could do, like start an appeal service or something, so that there could be some justice for players. Nothing is wrong? The troll is NOT being banned or punished! We invested in the game, and deserve good service. Getting a troll already sucks, being punished by getting a troll is worse. Are you telling me to just dodge when people starts to troll? Then I will still be the one being punished (waiting for another 15 mins)? No clue for how to solve the problem? No justice in league?

Sure, and Riot also has the right to punish you for breaking the rules that you agreed to. No one held a gun to your head and made you agree to the rules.

Actually you have no such right to fight back. This is Riot's property, you must abide by their rules. Your last comment directly contradicts the second. "Fighting back" is not "Self defense" unless you are in imminent danger. Since you were playing a video game, and in no immediate danger or peril from the individuals you were plating with, then it is not self defense. It is retaliating.

Otherwise who would tell him trolling is not right? Riot didn’t. You don’t need to explain to me. If you have time, read how many people are complaining about the system. Let people kept trolling, and you guys always remain silent, see how it goes. The game is being there for 8 years, and any improvements on treating trolls?

dont write about what a teammate is doing in chat if they are trolling. it is almost impossible to talk about it without hitting keywords that are going to be counted against you towards a punishment. the best thing to do is pretend not to notice.

Pretend not to notice but waste my life. Such a wise choice. That’s why so many people trolls, no cost for them. Pretty much saying he doesn’t want a good game, so none of you in the team would. You can forgive those people cause you never know how precious time is for some players. I’ve seen people playing league before getting operations, and it might be his last game for a long time. Tolerance wont help imporve their behavior, it will only hurt more.

i agree with you. all the war against toxicity is doing is giving weapons to the trolls. i cant even imagine how many people have been trolled into punishments.

but you have to learn to work around the system if you are going to play this game now.
