Can't complain about trolling?!!!

I played a ranked game today. Most players displayed what he/she wanted to play during the ban-pick period. The support banned what our top displayed. Then he locked my adc champ (the one that I displayed). I was the last pick, so I have to go support. When the game started, he got jg's first blue and die to enemy team to give the blue buff to them. Till that time I didnt even say anything bad. Just told him not to int. He bought ap items as an adc, then said that he still wanted to be support but taking all the minions. Isnt it an obvious troll? We even friendly played and wasted our 15 mins with him. I can't even say he sucks at the end of the game after trying everything? He was 0-8 adc! The enemy team helped him to report me cause they wanted to thank him for a free win. So my honor got locked? So we deserved a punishment after being bullied by a troll? Or we should always remain silent when we experience unfairness? Yes I did say he sucks. He sucks, thats the truth. There are many trash people with trash soul who are not respective at all. Why cant we point it out? Till now, that guy lost all 10 ranked games he played tonight, and not receiving any punishment. He even said he wants to be placed in bronze. What is wrong with you riot?????

You don't have to. It is a judgement call whether you think it will help the team.

IFS is a robot. It doesn't fact check. You were punished for negative chat it seems.

You can, just not in a negative manner.

That is the only usable evidence you have provided.

Sorry you had to deal with a rude player. Literally, the best thing you can do is to be silent and fill out a comprehensive report at the end of the game.

So you flamed the other player, when it would do nothing to help win the game? Despite the other player's actions, your words are fully yours to control. Flaming that player serves no useful purpose.

If you want to get others opinions on the "complaining", post the logs.

One: Yes. You are expected to remain silent to trolls because the DEFINITION of a troll is someone who wants you to be upset and act out in chat.

Two: Yes, it sucks. Some people are assholes. It would be nice if it wasn't the case, but there are limited options for Riot to do anything about it. I think Riot could do more to prevent certain forms of toxicity, but they haven't yet.

Three: What's wrong with Riot? They're trying to moderate literally millions of people. 99.9% of chat offenses are handled by an automatic system simply because there is no way for people to keep up without it. Trolling, however, must be reviewed manually. Sometimes a bad experience makes a bad game look like trolling.

Four: I took a glance at your match history, and I AGREE that you played with a troll, and that the troll should be banned. Consider, however, how many people complain of trolls when there isn't one. "Report X for trolling. Report Y for feeding. Report Z because they said mean things about my mother". I don't know how familiar you are with the concepts of 'signal' and 'noise', but know that there is a lot of noise. Finding the actual trolls through the noise is immensely difficult.

forgot to mention they dont have their rules plastered all over their client if they did less people would get banned etc

What’s unacceptable? “Suck” or “trash”? You bar is too low. Never lived a real life? For such a trolling behavior, I can’t even say he sucks? He was wasting my time, hurting me emotionally, and riot couldn’t help. Now you are saying my words are unacceptable, but the system accepted trolls. Encourage trolls? Ridiculous.

dont write about what a teammate is doing in chat if they are trolling. it is almost impossible to talk about it without hitting keywords that are going to be counted against you towards a punishment. the best thing to do is pretend not to notice.
