Ridiculous Punishment

Yeah, I now, you expect another whining perma'd player asking "c'mon all I did was threaten to burn his house down and DDOS him!" but seriously. I just got a 14-day ban for this : ONE SINGLE GAME OF FEEDING! ONE GAME. Yeah, I was messing around, but everyone but the toxic lux was fine adn jsut having fun. We were in a normal game and I was trying out zed (against a Yas/ekko duo mid...). I went somethign like 3/22. Yeah... I was 100% feeding. But a 14-day ban? With no prior offences? No. Just no.

Yeah Ik, and i'm sorry for what I did, but god! I was jsut salty from a fizz-ekko stomping me, and I go and have some fun trying out a champ with soe chill ppl. One person reports me and I get a Level 3 punisment? No. Maybe an LP queue yeah but not that...

Well... intentionally feeding isn't a chat offense, so it doesn't really make sense to punish it with a chat restriction.

It's also not an AFK/disconnect offense. It's intentionally ruining the game for other players.

Everyone was fine with me messing aorund, even my team. I knwo it was wrong but the punishment shouldn't have been a 14-day, not based on the scale. It shoudl've been an LP queue.

Low priority queue is the punishment for afking.

The punishment scale you are talking about is for minor chat offenses. 14 day ban is the standard first punishment for intentional feeding with a permanent ban being the second.

First, I never once mentioned the chat punishment scale. Idk how that got in here. If you're correct about the feeding scale, and I think you are, well! A) Thank god I've never fed before this and don't plan to in the future! B) That is a little extreme...

Actually no. I'm wrong. I 100% agree wit hthis system. It weeds out the true feeders, thoug hit might be a little rough to people who only tilt once or twice over two months and get permabanned...

You didn't mention chat punishment scale by name, but you mentioned punishment scales twice. I took that to mean the 10 game chat restriction, 25 game chat restriction, 14 day ban, permanent ban scale. Which applies only to minor chat offenses.

Deciding to ruin the game for players by intentional feeding is a serious offense. Thus it is met with serious punishments.

Yeah, I realize taht, and I know I was in the wrong, but a two-tilt-and-perma scale is a little bit harsh, especially when someone could jstu be bad. I'm not saying I was, but someone else could be...

you should have been permabanned. in my opinion. intentional feeding should be an instaban. but only if caught red handed

FOR THE LAST TIME, I KNOW I WAS TOTALLY IN THE WRONG. I still believe that players shouldn't be given such a severe penalty for one single offence. I have NEVER fed before and NEVER am going to again. That game was an example of serious tilt. I had had a few games in a row where Ekko was constantly stomping me, and then an ekko again stomped me. My team was also flaming me for "feeding" when i had been caught by him about 3 times. I tilted and fed at that point - wrong obviously.

I have to say though, I feel very unsatisfied with the way Riot handles these reports. I have NEVER gotten a single message of "A play you reported has been punished", though I have encountered many feeders and reported them. If those messages don't exist anymore, that explains it, but it makes me feel that nothing I report actually has any significance, while the one time I tilt and feed I get a huge punishment.

Why would you assume other intentional feeders get off freely when you did not?

Because I can confirm I once had a 0/17 renekton with all zeal or soemthign like that who me and two friends reported. He was in our next game, flaming and feeding. Also, I've never gotten a single "A play you have reported has been punished". The only game i've ever intentionally fed in was this one, and it felt horrible to be honest. Knowing that you were giving up a game just doesn't feel good, and I know how bad it is to be on the receiving end. It doesn't seem fair, then, that I get this punishment on my first and only offense, while people like the renekton can go along happily feeding. Again, not complaining about the unishment. Never going to feed again.

People sometimes escape the system, sometimes it isn't instant. You don't know what happened, so we can only speculate. It feels bad, but you are making the assumptions based on guesses.

You're probably right... I'll jsut go with "Don't feed, and if you ever play against Ekko again you need to take a break" Or if they rework Rengar... then I might leave.
