I went shaco top ( something not seen too often but can work if played well) and the akali on my team said she was throwing because im throwing because i went shaco top. I figured in champ select they werent going to throw because who wants to risk their account, so i didnt dodge. This is my second account, same rank as my main, and the xin was flaming me and yelling to apologize for going shaco top because the at that point 1/17 akali was going to carry if i did. It was obvious the game was a loss because we had a 1/17 akali at 15 minutes and their syndra had 15 kills and a free lane, so I just tried to kill the riven and i went 6/6. So my question is why was i chat banned for this? I realized from my otehr 2 games i was toxic so i did my b est to stop, those other games were a week beforehand, but why was this game part of it? The xin ended up flaming me and telling me to kys, and i got instant feedback report from report him, and when i said the nonsense about riot ip banned i just wanted to get them to stop iting then i muted them. My question is why was I chat banned here?

You are wrong if you expect reasonable justification in here. You got punished for writing in chat. Simple as that. Though I can't remember any rules telling you are permitted only a limited lines of writing. Soon RIOT fan boys will start downvoting you. Hypocrisy at its finest.

If you can't see what you did, there's a bigger problem at hand. You literally spent the entire game arguing with people and "muting". Yet if you muted when you actually said you were going to, you wouldn't have spent the entire game bitching like a little cry baby.

Chat bans are meant for hostile and toxic people that chat above is not toxic, it can come off as hostile but the intention wasnt there. Your idea of a chat ban must be a little skewed

also definition of argument "an exchange of diverging or opposite views" that means I can argue all i like as long as its not hurting the game or toxic, which it wasnt. The outcome was the exact same if i had muted them, which i did when they had 17 deaths.

feeding the trolls When you reply to a troll or group of trolls on the internet, usually angrily and while showing signs of being offended.

When you do this, you give the trolls the attention that they crave. You're responding in the way that the troll wants you to respond. You get upset over something that someone posted on the internet.

You gave Akali some attention thus you fed the troll. A correct way to "not feed the troll", would have been :

not typing anything in the chat.
muting them.

Also yes calling someone a troll, regardless of their actions, is considered negative for some good reasons :

You are right, they are trolls, it doesnt bring anything good to the game atmosphere since they are totaly aware they are trolling. So it's, at best, pointless to call them trolls.
You are wrong, they are not troll, they are just having a difficult game, and you are going to tilt them.

So calling out trollers is not authorized because there's nothing to win from doing so, but a lot to lose, look at your ban, for example :)

Why is getting the scum out of the system by requesting the enemy team helps with a good deed toxic? And your second point is wrong, if they 30 seconds in flash into the enemy tower feeding a kill, then does the same thing 23 times throughout a match, thats inting not having a bad game. That person was permad, or at least i would presume because they played daily matches until this happened, yet I was banned for being "toxic" to someone who was perma banned. So i am chat banned for asking to report someone who ended up getting perma banned for inting.

While it is personal act, RIOT clearly stated that players will not be punished for request of report unless it's being used as harassment throughout the game. There is something you should know, RIOT's fan boy.

At about 15 ish deaths the akali said to apologize for me picking shaco when they were at 15 deaths and they would carry. I wasn't going to bother as the akali had 15 deaths and mobility boots, I muted them after that and the xin went off on me saying its all my fault and i just played the rest of the game

Is RIOT some sort of sectarian organization or smth ? The number of RIOT fan boys looks so freaking delusional that they don't even sound like mentally ok. There was absolutely nothing in that chat to be worthy of punishment.
Comments like "Chat ban_** very**_ deserved" or "** literally** spent the entire game arguing" it just shows of how brain dead these RIOT fan boys are. How can he literally spent entire game arguing and at the same time have effective score of 6/7/3 ? And how he can' be "very" deserved of ban when he neither flamed or harassed other players ? My advice - don't take these trolls seriously. These RIOT fan boys are trolls themselves because they literally spending entire time writing in forums and provoking others to see them as mentally handicapped.

Keep in mind you are supposed to play the game with everyone else who is in there. You don't have to be friendly, you don't have to be rude, you have to play the game. That's the basic of this game.

I did, and looking at it, it seems like a ton of text but the teams were just talking back and forth and the other team seemed to get the situation. The xin got a chat ban for flmaing me (at least i think with the instant feedback) and im sure the akali will get 14 day or perm because going 1/27 i think it was with mobi boots is kinda inting.I just dont think this warrants a chat ban, I even said that this type of thing happens 1/100 so I didn't really mid becasue its just gotta happen eventually. The support and adc were really nice and they agreed with everything I said, and it wasn'ta s bad as the situation could be. I just dont htink that I was toxic to the point where a chat ban was needed just for typing a lot in a garunteed loss. You can say there is always a chance, but not when the akali went to mid top and bot to feed kills and gave all mid towers

Ask yourself this question. Is that chat log positive or even neutral?

You basically taunting and flaunting your supposed vast knowledge of the rito ban system (ironic that you are the one punished....), oh and you asked for report on akali. Dont tell me your chat is neutral.

You can only have 3 types of chat. If you answer "no" for the question above, then there's the reason you are chat banned.

look at it from the other team perspective, they literally have your word against your teammate(s) or they only have your one sided story. How can they be certain your teammate say what you told them they say?
asking the other team to report teammate make you no better than a rabble rouser and someone trying to drum up a witch hunt against someone (again, the other team literally have no context or any way to be sure your teammate said what you say they said)
if your teammate(s) said or did int, futher antagonize them will not make them stop. You flaunt your (very wrong) knowledge of the ban system at them and basically feeding the fuel to their fire
your chat is not positive and it is definitely not neutral. Since neither of the priors, it is considered negative

Chat ban very deserved.

This is not one of the more extreme case that get someone straight to ban, which means you must have been negative in the majority of the games you played, not just this one. Maybe you should reflect on that....

The akali literally told the enemy team they are inting and its my fault the enemy team sided with me no one on the enemy team reported me they said sorry. Your thrid point holds no value because if someone deserved a report and ban for something like inting you can most certainly ask them, fourth I didnt antagonize them my first words in game were after they inted and flashed into enemy tower so it was over at that point, fifth my chat wasnt negative, and if it is perceived that way why is being negative not allowed if im not flmaing or being toxic?

I got a lot of shit in low Bronze for Kayle top. They have a hard on for tanks in the top lane down in low Bronze. Thankfully, I didn't stay in that shit elo for long. No one in Silver gives two shits about me going Kayle top.
