The connection to the riot servers from where I live is awful. I know this because my connection is fine in all other aspects and all other games, and every 4 or so games on league my ping spikes. This sometimes results in a dc and has occasionally got me "leaverbusted". Is there anything I can do about this so I'm not wasting effectively 100 minutes of my time waiting in queue for something that literally is not my fault at all.

I'm not saying this in a mean way, but riot doesnt want you to ruin the gaming experience for other people because you can't play at your full potential, so they'll keep punishing you until either you solve the problem, or you quit.

and no, they can't remove your leaver buster. should have started trouble shooting after the first 2-3 times of you getting DCed.

Hey Chimpanturticorn,
The LeaverBuster system targets players who have a tendency of leaving or AFKing in games, whether it was intentional or not. For this reason we will not remove a leaverbuster punishment on an account. Keep in mind, a leaver or AFKer can have dramatic impact on the game; even leaving for a short duration and coming back to complete the game results in a period where a team has to play 4v5.
We understand that emergencies can occur outside of our control which may take us out of the game, that’s why Leaverbuster is designed to only take action after a series of incidents have been observed.
Continuing to leave games will result in scaling low-priority queue restrictions that will increase the time you must wait before entering a lobby. The only way to remove your Leaverbuster status is by playing games from start to finish without interruptions. If you are having connection issues or encountering bugs, don’t queue up for a match, take some time to troubleshoot the issue. If needed, I can send you to our tech team for assistance.

Tehery1 votesI was also in his shoes a few weeks ago. Got a 5 game 5 min delay. I stopped playing then took a week to fix it and now all is good. It is not Riot's problem it is your problem you have to fix it. Just as I had a problem and I fixed mine. I hope it is in the past now. I bereave to riot it is and I now I have a clean record.
