Honor not unlocking?

How many matches does it take to get honor unlocked? I got a complete bullshit 10 game chat ban where I really didn't say anything at all toxic. never swore or talked down to anyone. the 10 game ban is way gone, but honor is still locked and wont' unlock. I've endured and suffered some complete waste of human life as so called "team mates" over the past week and I have not said anything rude to them even though there moms should be thrown in prison for life for not having them aborted. I have been completely civil and polite, but yet still no unlocking of my honor? I have some team mates that do deserve honor, but I have a personal policy of never honoring when my honor is locked, so what gives?

You're really shooting yourself in the foot by not honoring when locked because you get honor when the whole team honors someone. And that can be enough to get rewards as it is of the things that pop up when you get a key fragment (How many times you honored people). So maybe start honoring your teammates that deserve honor?

Based on your attitude here, I doubt you've reformed from your chat ban and it sounds likely you are still behaving poorly in matches. I think you'd do well to stop having this combative and argumentative attitude - both to get your honor unlocked and to avoid further punishment. Further, your selfishness in not honoring just because you yourself got your honor locked does not go unnoticed - I suspect strongly that this attitude carries over to your gameplay and your chat and is one of the reasons that led to your chat punishment.

When people receive valid reports, that aren't enough to trigger a penalty, it still affects their progression through the honor system. This is often times what creates the perception for honor 0 players that it takes forever to climb. They think that just because they are getting honored and not penalized, it must mean they are progressing. This is not so.
