Okay as someone who has played the game for right at 4 years now and has seen the Low Priority Que id say 3 or 4 times now in two years since its implementation.

WARNING: a couple games left when I first started.

First Offence: I was leaving games due to my crap computer having power issues and was told by support.leagueoflegends.com that this game wasn't for everyone. I stopped playing the game for about a month until I gained a better computer. > 5 Games of 5 minute penalty wait time gained.

Second Offence: I was being booted from games randomly because of TWC my ISP was rerouting fiberwire through my neighborhood and random disconnects happened. >5 games of 10 minute penalty wait time gained.

3rd offence: I was bored with the game had recently gotten an xbox and started to leave games, bad on me my fault. >5 games of 20 Minute penalty wait time gained.

4th offence: Left a game cause my mother called me on the way to the hospital with third degree burns on her thigh from a boiling hot deep fryer hit her leg. My bad bros >5 games of 20 minute penalty wait time gained.

In summary, I have 5000+games played I play about 30 a week, how long does it take for these tiers of punishments to go down, or how many games..? I mean I put a lot of time, emotion, energy and money into this game. I get telling a kid that hes a pizza faced virgin gets you banned for two weeks or even permanently. However these punishments need to be consistent but not this harsh.

Im sorry but I would even understand more if it was geared towards heavyer punishments if you leave a ranked game but sheesh. Riot please respond. This is actual feedback not just someone being all " Awww you gay homos banned me blah blah ".

Not harsh enough in my opinion. Nobody cares about the reason why you leave games. It doesn't matter if you are tilted and leave out of frustration or if your PC is just bad and can't handle League of Legends, the end result is the same. You left the game and wasted time of 9 other people. If you had fixed your technical problems in the first place, you going to the hospital midgame wouldn't have been a problem. Fix your shit or stop playing.

Leaving even 1 game should give you a 20 min low priority queue imo. It's actually too forgiving if you ask me.

As someone who has been hit with LeaverBuster for technical issues and rage quiting I think the system is rather lenient. They give you lots of chances and it's assumed that you don't mean to leave the game or it was an emergency. It's only after a pattern has been determined that you get punished.

When you're no longer on LeaverBuster you'll get a message telling you so. Took me about 6 months of not leaving any games to get that message. I play a lot less than you though and I don't know if it's based on games played or time.

Good luck!

Personally, what I think the CS;GO punishment system is better. For those that don't know it's a 30 minute ban on the first leave, 2 hour ban on the second, 24 hour on the third, and 7 days on the 4th. It resets every 7 days. I think this system punishes better because ragequitters tend to quit more often than someone with connection issues every now and then, and therefore will get punished more heavily.
