Thoughts on the tribunal system
So the tribunal system punishes players, but mainly focusing on toxic players. Why? Because they are giving other players a bad and negative gaming experience. I support this reason. However, I think it is too strict. Why? Because a population of the toxic players are usually being trolled. Why is Riot only punishing those who are toxic? A counter point to this is that trolls are giving those who are trying and want to win a bad gaming experience. They troll/intentionally feed, get flamed, and is considered a victim. That's not fair. Why isn't Riot punishing them?
Please don't give me it's just a game as a reason. There are two types of queues in rank for a reason. Rank is a place to be competitive and normal is a place to have fun. For example, people decide to try out champions they've never played or practicing champions in rank. If you want to try out a new champion then play blind pick or bot, if you want to practice champions in a more serious place then go play draft. I consider these people to be more or less a troll. They are losing a game for people who are actually trying.
And in normals, it also happens. There are people who make stupid decisions after their teammates tell them not to and try to give suggestions to the player but they refuse to listen and ultimately loses the game for their team by being an asshole (ex. Refusing to communicate and start to troll by buying 6 tears and feed) but they don't say anything or nothing mean so those who are being toxic to them can get punished. Those people are doing the same thing toxic people are ultimately doing, giving other a bad gaming experience.
What do you guys think?
