Yes, that is most certainly racist.
That's a banned word equivalent to the N-word towards people of African descent. In short: Don't do it, it's extremely offensive and you will always deserve to be banned for it.
You're no more likely to be punished when you get reported by everyone as you are when you get reported by one person. That's because the report system is decoupled from the punishment system. If there are ANY reports against you then it can trigger a review and result in a punishment.
