Empathy for Enemy Team

Now, this is kind of a "Am I crazy for feeling this?"

I do love to jungle here and there. It was my main "let's learn this role" because positioning practice and how to properly learn to gank was a huge thing for me.

But as of lately, I don't enjoy it and I don't enjoy it for what feels like a guilty reason to hate it.

Then I can only imagine the amount of flame the enemy jungler ends up getting.

Now, it may be holding me back from actually ranking up having a guilty feeling mindset about doing my job right as the jungler. And even moreso, I should just remove all chat at this point so I don't feel this way.

Is it weird to have these bad thoughts while playing such a sporadic to enjoy role?

There's nothing enjoyable about playing in the jungle unless you are smurfing.

The only reason to feel bad for the enemy team is if they have an AFK or an inter IMO.

It's a competitive game, and if people are complaining in all chat that you're doing your job too well, you should take that as a compliment. Some of my best friends in this game have formed from trash talking back and forth with the enemy team. You both get to see how good the other person is first hand, and I've gotten multiple friend requests from people on the enemy team that wanted to team up with me afterwards.

That said, if someone DCs, you might want to give them a chance to catch back up when they come back. That's something probably beyond their control, and a judgement call. As for normal competition, have fun, do your best, and understand that sometimes the person complaining to you in all chat considers that part of the fun too.

Its nothing to get guilty about. You're better than the enemy jungler. If you feel empathy, report their team. Cause if you really think the enemy jungler is getting flamed, get those cockroaches fucking banned.
