why isnt there a report option at player picking and banning

By the time a game has started you can usually identify a troll pick, toxic player or other activity that will ruin some ones experience and game. I'm sure with a pregame screening system the league community could be "classed up" in what action are befitting of a position in a ranked match or what information is important to the game.

MY second question is why is the top of any division against you statistically. The players you get afk more lack rank or are queued with a given person because to fit offset their low lp. can we see some changes in how the ladder top is organized

"taric mid" that's sound like the perfect example.

the pre game report would help flag players with bad habits of toxicity and troll picking. it would distinguish valid attributes for a ban/ instead of questionable play.

Mmm. I could see it working, granted I took Taric top before (last season and beat the Riven was against).

While maybe no the most ideal pick Taric Mid isn't necessarily a troll pick.

And how would abuse of this be prevented? What if a pre-made group reported pregame just to report because they wanted to be asses?

fyi picking something off meta is not bannable as long as you are trying to win the game (just a small clarification)

i remember back in season 3 when i was playing taric top. i was winning against darius but people still called it troll pick in champion select and proceded to int to "compensate"

As a Thresh ADC /MAIN/ I have problems with your proposal. I can track maybe about... oh.. 30% of my games maybe having a salty champ select for no other reason than I'm Thresh and TheyDontLikeThat

"The Meta" is your opinion. It's community OPINION. They aren't facts. Roles are the intention of the champion, not a clearcut guide on where they should be in all instances

Ezreal was originally a mid, until people realized he could ADC. HOw many of those early EloScore ranked games had people reporting shitty EZ for taking adc?

You simply can't give more people tools to be a dick in champ select. And that's what this would be. A threat to make people fall in line with how YOU think this game should be played.

probably not going to happen considering off meta is always viable however ...I just witnessed my friend's game whch had a orianna top with smite and precision runes while building attack speed+lifesteal+the jungle item I wasn't in that game but I hope they reported that ori

the only solution to this is dodging a troll pick when you see one......but that's at the cost of other players even if there's something like a dodge vote in 3 min(much like remake), it would probably be abused to avoid hard matchups or people tilted at genuine off meta picks maybe something like aram's rr function which you only get 1 vote every 7 games or something
