Carrying friends

Well my friend had 3 month head start this season and he was stuck in silver so i decided to rank with him i started in bronze 2 and climbed up pretty fast out by myself.so now i am s4 and he is s1.(i started ranking with him when i was s5 and he was s2) he keeps saying comments that refer to him thinking he is better then me, But i literally carry him mid every game. He plays jg and top and he feeds hard almost every game. But i usually end up carrying.After this we start yelling at each other in skype call. Idk if i should let him stay where he is at or i should just ignore this and rank with him.
