Pretty excited to finally make it to honor level 5! I usually play about 1 - 3 games average and get a honor or three in at least one of them. In my level 5 capsule I ended up getting Grey Warwick. I look forward to bring more positive behavior to the league community, and hope anybody that suffers from being dishonorable or in a low honorable category (chat restrictions to 2 week bans) reads this.

Now, when I speak, I speak from my own experiences on this journey. So things I learned that the honor system seems to really value:

¤ Reports against you are invalid. This is a big one, you _must _ not have valid reports on your account record or your ability to climb up the honor ladder will be significantly halted. The more valid reports on your account, the more likely you'll be demoted a lower tier in the system, and could even lead to suspensions by the instant feedback system. There's no way to know if you have a valid report on your account so this should always be in the back of your head. Mute negative players, and report them in post game lobby. Never condone in verbal retaliation.

¤ You don't just honor everybody. Honoring everybody, from your duo buddy to your cat and dog and everybody and criminals constantly, diminishes the legitimacy and value of honor you give to people since you give it to everybody. Honor those who show positive behavior, are already valued by the honor system already identifiable sometimes in the loading screen, and you'll climbing the honor system in no time. Never ever, ever honor a toxic player.

¤ Your reports are valid Valid reports, especially a good amount of them, tell the system that we really can trust his or her reports and when he or she reports somebody we're reviewing it with high priority as oppose to a person who report everyone because he or she didn't like them. The system will definitely cater priority more to a level 5 honor report than a dishonorable player's report who spams. Report toxic players that use racial slurs, homophobic remarks, autistic jokes, shaming or harass players on a basis of performance. Your job in the game isn't to point our their mistakes and call them words you wouldn't use at a vast majority of workplaces.

Tl;dr Don't have valid reports against you. Honor players who are positive, are already honorable by the system and show teamwork. Never honor a toxic player. Report valid negative and derogatory behavior and don't spam reports.

Hope all you homeslices out there have fun, take care, much love.

So, your first bullet is spot-on. You can have your Honor Progress slowed if the IFS validates reports made against you - so negative behaviors should absolutely be avoided to make sure you're not being held back from Honor progress.

Your other two bullets, though......No. Your second bullet is almost entirely wrong - your Honors only have reduced value (specifically, no value) if you Honor a premade teammate. Everyone else, those who you aren't in a premade with, those Honors are valid and do have value.

Honoring others only has value to you in the form of the Team Honor Bonus - which requires everyone to Honor someone. Otherwise, your Honors only have value for other players.

As for your last bullet, I sincerely doubt that that actually affects Honor Progress. It seems like it'd be extremely arbitrary and unnecessary for the system to give you increased Honor gains for reporting other players - regardless of the validity of those reports. And it makes even less sense that the IFS would weigh reports from higher Honor Level players more favorably than those from lower Honor Levels. That's just not how the system works.

This, of course, isn't to say one shouldn't report players they feel are breaking the rules - just that it makes no sense for reporting others to tie into one's own Honor progress, or that one's Honor Level would make their reports any more impactful than anyone else's.

I think legitimacy of reports is a deprecated thing that no longer happens - as far as I know all reports are now treated equally. Don't quote me on that though.

I would like to ask how do u know if valid reports affects your Honor or not?

Only the first one is true. However, the second two are not true. I honor anyone accordingly to my own preference. That alone does not affect my honor. And the 3rd one, you may report anyone that made the game uncomfortable for you. Even says so in the tips. Just because you randomly report someone that didn't fit your standard of play or comfortability doe not go against your honor or even remotely affect it.

The easiest way to gain honor is the same as it has always been- Co-op vs AI games.
