2nd offense, Permabanned

Let me be clear on this before anyone jumps to the, "perma means permanent" bandwagon. I'm not here to appeal my case. I'm not here to trash the system. I'm most certainly not here to bash on Riots door with threats.

What I am here for is new players and old players who have received a warning or a 2 week suspension.

First, let me introduce you to my reform card:

As you can see, I was fairly toxic. Now this is the 2nd time my account has been flagged for toxicity. Which resulted in a permanent ban.

The cursing is a little excessive. I also carried on about how "bad" my Xaya was playing at the time. Lessons to be learned from this. Never lash out on a fellow summoner. I realize the game is intense. Climbing the ladder means a lot to you, because you invest so much time in it. While other players may be toxic, just find your chill and keep pushing for your victory. Being toxic not only directly affects team moral. It also affects yours. Furthermore, the time it takes to be toxic by typing, is time you could spend clearing a camp, pushing an objective, or using proper pings to rally your fellow summoners to a point of interest.

I seen a lot of people using slurs, racist and homophobic remarks, and just getting really dirty with insults. I always reported them. I never once thought out my actions to be toxic enough to be banned. After the first ban (which was by far justified for using a homophobic slur in chat) I decided to tone it down a bit. After this ban, I realized toxic did NOT just mean using slurs, or telling someone to "KYS". It mean being unsupportive. IT meant dragging your team down with a bad attitude. Even calling someone a feeder is enough to pull someone down in a slump and force a defeat (I know, I've been in their shoes!).

Losing this account really hurt. I had invested so much money and time into it. Made tons of friends with it (some I actually took to social media with, and some met IRL). It's a real eye opener when I realized just how toxic I really was. Just by what you see above. You may think you're not being toxic by calling someone bronze, or by saying they are bad. But you are. You totally are.

So to the old summoners of the Rift, and to the new summoners of the Rift that are joining us. Be wary of what you say in game, and in lobby. Let's keep it clean. Let's put on smiles (even when the going gets rough and you feel ). Lets keep our heads on straight to help construct a positive community that draw in new players of all ages.

Jesus this is the longest REFORM card i have seen. Ban is deserved you keep Harassing ur team there for is reportable..

If only Riot would treat their "We want players to reform" seriously enough to discuss things like this with you instead of locking your account.

People seriously wanting and actively trying to reform should be given more chances, as long as they're making progress. Sorry you aren't able to get one.

In my appeal to Riot through the support team I already noted I wouldn't spend anymore money on the game. The account alone is well worth 2,000+(USD) just off skins. It's also a complete account, with very few runes left to buy. In my appeal, I strictly told them I had made a new account, but would not be spending more than 10$ to get champions I know I can carry with. After which, I won't spend any money. On the other hand, if I got my old account back, I'd probably continue spending money just cuz bad.

The problem is exactly identifying people seriously wanting to reform. And the only way to do this objectively is by looking at statistics. Guess what those statistics show: The vast majority of people who do not reform after their first 14-day ban never reform.

You want more chances, but the entire reason why Riot gives so few chances these days is because previously when people were given more chances, they wouldn't use them anyway. Sure, some people might have just needed that one additional chance, but that's true no matter how many chances you give people.

You need to draw the line somewhere. And I'd rather it be drawn by statistical analysis than by appeal to emotions.

I know full well why they don't do it, I'm just saying that it sucks that even people who have shown themselves to be reformed through playing on another account are not permitted their original account back.

An example of this is on the Wikipedia projects - people who are permanently banned on one generally can be unbanned if they show constructive contribution on another project. It works fine for them, why can't they do that on League.

I agree. I've already shown signs of reforming. I was being more positive to players. Was being supportive. Would take roles for people who didn't want to play those roles. I put the community before me.

I just so happened to have 1 bad day (and this was the only game i played that day) where my adc was toxic and inting. I called them out on it. No rude name calling. No slurs. Just said she was bad.

I get it. Thats considered toxic. But I just don't see how it warrents a permaban.

Anyways, this whole post is meant to teach people that regardless how minimum the toxicity is, it is still toxic. Hopefully people learn from my mistakes.

Unfortunately, you got caught in the punishment escalation path. While there is toxicity in these logs, by themselves they probably wouldn't have warranted anything more than a chat restriction. But coming off of the temporary suspension, the next offense is an automatic permanent suspension of the account. It doesn't matter how severe or relatively minor the infraction is. If the account continues to break the rules within a short time-frame, at that point, it's banned. And it can be pretty rough for players who end up getting hit with a temporary suspension as their first punishment, as they don't always realize just how precarious the situation is.

Yes, very unfortunate. I have heard nothing back from the support team. I requested a review of the incident to see if things could be reversed, or otherwise sentence reduced to a few months ban.

I'm in bronze. People call each other bronze as a joke down here all the time. No one takes it seriously.

To describe an unusually bad player, the term wood is used.

Right, and it was meant as a joke. Xayah laughed and so did the support. Everything was fine until she started threatening to afk because I wouldn't gank a 0/6 adc and a 0/7 support at 15 minutes. Is that unreasonable? I wouldn't give her buffs or anything. At the point where your botlane is 0/11, you need to think about yourself and how you can carry this game. Which, by the way, I did carry that game. Most everything in this reform card were retorts to her initial comments towards me.
