A lot of people at low ranks think they're better than others because they watch pro players and look at their strats.
What they often overlook is the team comp that is usually built to support that and why they picked that strat. They completely ignore the context and just see that they picked that champion in an unusual position or built them in an unusual way.
A good example was the infamous support MF from like 2016 that plagued ranked for months after pros picked it to deal with Zyra's plants.
