good question. please explain because for some reason. ALOT of players do not understand the meaning of toxic. " play passive and under turret because you are feeding the enemy" that's not toxic... [zombie-brand-facepalm]

People can get very emotional on here. If this was something said in a game i would leave out the "because you are feeding the enemy"

My interpretation of League's use of "toxic" is behavior that detracts from the experience of others without benefiting anybody. Constantly berating a player for missing some skill shots could be toxicity. Reflexively blaming others every time you die could be toxicity. Making somebody feel bad for losing lane, something that is going to happen on average 50% of the time, could be toxicity.

Basically, if you're honest with yourself, you'll know if you're toxic or not. Your exact phrase "Play passive and under turret because you are feeding the enemy" isn't overwhelmingly toxic, but the accusation that they're "feeding" could be considered as an insult, especially if your interpretation of the situation doesn't match theirs. And even when your advice is 100% correct, it isn't always your place to offer it. Personally, I get annoyed when other players seem to think that they know better than me and can dictate how I should play my own champ or lane, whether or not they're actually more experienced than me. Unsolicited "advice" is often unwelcome and unhelpful, and if you're just pointing out a mistake that I already knew I made, it can be tilting.
