Ranked? If you can even call it that...

As of late the amount of trolling/griefing and all around passive aggressive toxic behaviour has grown tremendously in ranked ques. Now league likes to think of itself as a "competitive sport" but how can Riot go about falsely making these claims when when the ranked ladder is a joke and 90% or more of these trolls go unpunished. How is this tolerated? How is it not more widely punished? If your going to call it a sport and have rules then enforce them. Have in match referee's and penalties for poor play and poor behaviour... or something because right now league seems more like a childs game and less of a sport. The only thing that seems to be punished by Riot is swearing and defending yourself in chat against the trolls.

I realize some of you reading this are saying just play a carry champ/position and carry the troll. Now while you do have a valid point its also very invalid as well. Some people choose to willingly main support and some of those people chose to main team supports who cant exactly solo carry. Yes I am one of them. So there is a bit of bias in this post but im sure every other support main has had these thoughts at some point.

Now with the rant over. I just wanted to end by saying that allowing this behaviour to grow will do nothing but negatively impact League and continue to make ranked into the laughing stock of game modes that it has become because there is no seriousness shown by a wide majority of the players when it comes to ranked. Honestly you cant even call it ranked anymore. Might as well rename the game mode to " The Troll Climb ".
